If I remember right, ZM62 1. Gen was real thin and close to real 0.62.

I sure didn't tie them anywhere else, if that's what you mean...

The (possibly) upcoming ZM60 Fire is most probably 0.62... or thinner.

Comparing with BG66UM and BG80. I had posted this in May.

The ZM60 Fire is still on the racket, not ready to cut it out yet, even to compare. But it definitely looks and feels thinner than any of these.

Is it normal for zymax 62 fire to have string movement after a few smashes ? Strung at 24ib by professional stringer so ... Do anyone else have this problem

Yah, normal at tensions lower than 26 or so. Will be better once it settles in.

Yeah having trouble with the amount of movement even though I'm not a hard smasher

Heavy slicer? I don't get what the beef is over string movement.

One of the things that struck me about the Fire is how little it moves.

I will put a picture up in a mo, Paul strung it for me so it's definitely the best stringing going . I think it might be
    1.The tension is low
2.because I was working on serve and return for doubles we looked at snapping your wrist to he it in the far corner so the strings might of had movement
3.maybe it's the weather affecting the strings

But still the strings are nice but it seems like I have to adjust them back into place. So it looks like I have OCD on court lol

Could be the low tension - I forget how mental tight I have mine sometimes...

Give it 4-6 hrs of play and the strings will bed in nicely.

So I got the chance to try this on a 8PS today. Must say...this gets my seal of approval so far.

just when I figured that I love the 62 Fire at 28lbs... I got mine strung at 27lbs... a couple of buddies got theirs strung at 28lbs and 27lbs respectively... I tried both and I must say.. there's something magical about it at 28. previously I had also tried 29.5lbs... that was a ok to play for the first couple of weeks... after that it was still taut... but lacked the repulsion it had in the first 2 weeks. The one that broke was white, now I'm getting it strung with the orange.

So, are you then liking 28 or 27 lbs?

It's recommended max tension is listed as 30 lbs, and I'm finding that's anything beyond 28 that it feels dead as it loses elasticity and repulsion.

Got my freshly strung racket last night and stroked a little with it... still a little taut... net play, push, and drops were fantastic... clears were easy... but for smashing, it needs to settle a little... but the sound is fabulous... it really rings... I'm gonna try it on my Apacs Sensuous 222 next but I wanna try 26lbs... just to see what kind of difference it has on repulsion...

Hey man, I think I prefer the feel of 28lbs the best... My fleet N7 strung at 27lbs felt rather dead fresh after stringing... I left it in the bag for a couple of days and now it's just fantastic. Another thing I noticed is the feel is much better with a "4 knot string job"... the strings don't move about as much... especially after a slice drop/smash...

Hmm odd observation. I'm on a 2 knot job at 26/26lbs and I barely get any movement unless I mishit a bit too hard.
