Right out of the bat, all 3 INA XD pairs will either lose or 1 will survive: Widianto/Dili and Ronald/Melati vs CHN's Wang Yilv/Luo Yu and XuChen/MaJin and Edi/Gloria vs. Taipei's Alan/Tse and they have lost thrice 0-3 in H2H.
I notice since JPN Open that I see MS, WS and XD players with last name Mainaky. They are nephews of the head coach's famous family Mainaky brothers? They are not in pelatnas right? Are they independent players? What are their rankings? How can they participate in SS?
Ahh.... I looked up my question and Lyanny Mainaky is the daughter of Reoni Mainaky, the JPN MD coach. So I guess she and her brother, Yehezkiel Fritz Mainaky are in a JPN badminton club and enter as JPN players.
They enter as INA players, but maybe they train in JPN as they are independent players. Somehow I don't think they have potential.
Glad that Ihsan won over Tago 21-19, 21-17. However it's kind of sad seeing that poor results recently coming from such a talent like Tago. Hope he will soon bounce back to his top form.
