Pemuda & Cooler are no more here but pjswift and limsy still are, but quieter now.

Don't do the jumping smash but I am sure you are still young at heart.
Have you come back for your yearly visiting?
It's cold there and I am sure you would want to enjoy some sunshine here, not to mention the fried kuey teow, laksa and other stuffs.

Why disagree that lcw is best?
If he loose in biggest event has nothing to do with practical play but in his mind and strategy. Seems like he play more for his country than his smile and soul?

LCW is never a great player, according to someone is good at counting major title. I'm wondering if he/she knows who is the best player in SS/SSF in one discipline now. (Hint: not their idol)

Otoh he has significantly more titles than 'someone'. Maybe because 'someone' cant keep that high level and has to take breaks more and more frequently since 2010....? If you dont participate, you cant lose.

    Kind of right, I guess.
Which brings back to RS beating LD in 2004 or someone who beat LD only once before.
The stats would be 100%. Compared to 9-16 between LCW and LD.

I hope LCW can take a rest after HKO and save a little bit the weapon for RIO.

No doubt about it Lin Dan is the Greatest of All time. Cant argue with that. But LCW will be No.2 despite NO OG and tWC.

Thing Hien Hiow aka Tang Hsien Hu is considered one the greatest players of his generation and the next and yet he had no major titles to boot. Played very few international matches. And yet it is the coaches , his opponents and badminton fans who had watched him played were of the opnion he was the best amongst Erland Korps Finn Kobero Tan Joe Hock Mulyadi Charoen Wattanasin How Jia Chang and Tan AIk Huang.

The only doubt was whether he was better than Rudy Hartono.

If one say that Fleming Delfs was better than Liem Swee King. Delfs won the WC and All England in the same year and Swee King lost the WC finals twice!!!!! LSK won 3 AEs. No one doubts his credentials.

Can one disrepect Morten Frost Hansen. He had lost two WC finals .

What about Ardy Wiranata. Was he less of a great player than Alan K? he had lost the WC finals twice won numerous tiles for Indonesia. But lost to Aln in the OG 92. compare to the overall achievement and style of play between Alan and Ardy who was better?

Not to mention Peter Gade. His claim to fame was his one and only AE in 1999. and yet everyone speak of Peter G in legendary terms compared to Peter Rasmussen who won WC in 1997?

So here we have LCW who objective speaking plays Badminton like no one else. towers above the rest but only behind LD and some BCers keep belittling his achievements.

LCW may not have won WC or OG and may never will but he keeps reinventing himself after every set back. Resetting the standards of Badminton. made it exciting to watch.

If LCW retired in 2008 or 2010 do yall think yall be looking forward to see Chen Long play Sho Wan Ho in the finals

Ronald Susilo I believe, must be the one during 2004 Olympics when LD lost in 1st or 2nd match.

He was so tired at the end. He will have to manage how many tournaments he competes in.

He should be fine. He will have 3 months to rest until the All England since he won't go to Dubai this year.

Looks like LCW will edge out LD in ranking points next week and make it to #3.
    LCW: 64983 - 430 + 9200 = 73,753
LD didn't gain any point and will remain at 73,677.
