For Women's Doubles, ZYL/TQ vs YY/TYT could be preview of Rio WD Final, OR the decisive battle as to which pair (or players) will get their (or her) tickets to got to Rio. A third possibility is that LYB has already made up his mind as to which two pairs or four players in WD will go to Rio. So today's WD match is a training opportunity especially since ZYL has to play in XD.
Yes. Of course, ZN/ZYL will go to Rio as a pair. The second ticket is complicated. Will Ma Jin play in WD for Rio? If LYB has already decided that Ma Jin will play in WD (presumably with TYT), then Liu/Bao will go to Rio. If TYT goes with YY in WD, then Ma Jin/Xu Chen vs Liu/Bao is crucial. These two XD pairs' head-to-head records against foreign players should be the decisive factors.
Especially with Zhang Nan and Zhao Yunlei both set to do double duty in XD and MD and XD and WD respectively, it's even more important that Liu/Bao can deliver gold should ZN/ZYL be too stretched. The weakest link is still CHN MD.
