Reversal of fortunes in men's and women's doubles, Axelsen stunned World Champion

What a suprising tournament, all defending champions failed to reach last round. Badminton giant China has three representatives in final, followed by Denmark and Japan with two places each and one for England, Indonesia, Korea.

WD, Luo Ying/Luo Yu (CHN) v Christinna Pedersen/Kamilla Rytter Juhl (DEN)
Head to head stats : 1-2
The pumped up Danish combination has slight advantage to grab this prestigious title once again after 2013 edition, they applied right strategy against more-favoured opponent Maheswari/Polii. Luo twins sisters are not too dangerous as their compatriots Tian/Zhao or the new sensation Tang/Yu despite they have really solid defense.

XD, Chris Adcock/Gabrielle Adcock (ENG) v Ko Sung Hyun/Kim Ha Na (KOR)
    H-2-H : 0-3
It's a big challenge for English married couple to overcome hot favourite Korean pair. Ko/Kim are unbeaten en route to final and have terrific improvement lately, their turning point started when won back to back Superseries in Europe soil last October. It's big achievement so far for Adcock/Adcock after bagged Hong Kong Superseries back to 2013, the top-seed Zhang/Zhao walkover really delivered big impact for their journey in this tournament.

WS, Nozomi Okuhara (JPN) v Wang Yihan (CHN)
    H-2-H : 1-2
The Japanese bright talent has superb run here, never drop any game and won over her rivals convincingly including knocked out reigning world champion Carolina Marin twice in two consecutive days. Former champion Wang is struggling to back on her top and high possiblity she will be troubled by younger opponent today. Last meeting, Okuhara won straight-sets in French Open two months ago.

MS, Viktor Axelsen (DEN) v Kento Momota (JPN)
    H-2-H : 1-4
It's the battle of future stars, two former world junior champions face-off. A morale booster for young dane to win first ever Superseries title here after outplayed two-time world champion Chen Long. Momota showed high determination to dispose another Danish player Jorgensen in straight-sets and he may reject Axelsen dream to end this year on high note.

MD, Mohammad Ahsan/Hendra Setiawan (INA) v Chai Biao/Hong Wei (CHN)
    H-2-H : 1-1
The last meeting of these two finalists exactly happened a year ago at same venue. The reigning world champion Ahsan/Setiawan is favoured to regain their 2013 title. They almost slipped final spot after Lee/Yoo saved three match points and stole second game, fortunately they kept calm and composed to stamped authority in decider. Last year beaten finalist, Chai/Hong experienced thrilling battle against second seed Boe/Mogensen and won narrowly at the end.

Kamilla and Christina wearing the same style of dress as Ratchanok yesterday. Sorry, but unlike RI, who looked stunning, they look horrible in it. the world is so unfair, isn't it?

Interestingly, GC is saying she has to be neutral and not be biased (in her commentaries) before adding it would be marvellous if the Danes win the WD and become the 13th(?) different pair to do so.
