Same thing happens everywhere. The example i mentioned was 2 ft inside was called out. Here you go. 1) In korea. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W85Jj28TUTc 2) In china Open 2014 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eWappCmC7oY 3 wrong line judgements against Saina. Unbelievable.
His game has changed for the worse so far this year, although he is producing results against inferior opponents.. (Discounting exhibition results) He was reacting quicker, maybe too quicker last year when he was losing that string to THW. Anyone agrees?? Add your views, since I amnt following the circuit closely for some time, so the change felt sudden not gradual
I look at the fact that Srikanth was already on the way to recovery long before the bad line call. Coming from a 5 pt deficit, he was able to string up pts from winners much more easily than Huang could. Throughout the whole match, Huang worked harder to string winners because his only advantage that I could see against Srikanth is a small one at the net. Whereas Srikanth had a cobsiderable power advantage plus more fluid footwork too. You can caĺl this afterthoughts if you wish.
Fan123 I am a great fan of Srikanth even until now. Yes Srikanth I admit is a good player. He peaked towards end of year 2014. But to be honest and frank Srikanth has not been performing well in year 2015 and it drags on to this year. Of course I feel happy when Srikanth wins the match. Too bad to say in this tournament, the matches that he has won is marred with refereeing errors so it may have taken the glory out of it.
From 1-7 down in the decider, Srikanth was already 11-10 in the decider. He is already recovered from the minor bump at the beginning. No probs. He won it convincingly at the end. How come Srikanth loses focus when he has huge lead in the second games ? This is not the first time, he did it against Goh and now against Huang Yuxiang. When he is going to learn . Fan123, you are correct. He is way more mental unstable player. Still lots of things need to be done.
Personally, I think one bad call is never a big issue unless it happens at match point/ game point. And usually such mistakes get evened out. today only, in Sung Ji Hyun and Sato's game 2 bad calls got balanced out.
So to all bcers lets leave the refereeing errors for the bwf to solve it since it can happen anytime now in tournaments. Lets be cool and calm.
Yes, and those 2 calls were just as bad as the Srikanth one. So just get a hawk eye. And make it so advanced that it can detect service faults too. Seriously, line judges are human beings, and these mistakes can happen due to a moment of inattention.
True, and a borderline case would have less impact on the hapless victim as opposed to an outrageous one. Sometimes, even experienced and mature players with a certain temperament may blow it and self-destruct, losing points in double-quick time beyond salvation.
