Definitely looks like a Duora10. And even more important... he is holding it with the green side up aka the wrong way!!!!

Makes sense that he's using the Duora10. I suspected he would go for the ArcSaber range, but still the Duora10 is similar to his N9.

No surprise there with Srikanth as all front runners for MS Gold in Rio (Lin Dan, Lee Chong Wei, Kento Momota, Viktor Axelsen, Jan Jorgensen, Chou Tien Chien, etc) except Chen Long are all under Yonex. He probably thought to himself that he should just join the "alliance" :p

All top 5 richest players are under Yonex ie Lee Chong Wei, Lin Dan, Saina Nehwal, Peter Gade, Taufik Hidayat, with 2 of them are retired. I guess the statistics pretty much explained the claim :p

LoL. Saina amongst the 5 richest? For what, exactly? Tier2 WS player....is it because all the Chinese are unavailable for sponsorship?

Well, I don't think anyone has the faintest idea what any of those players make, so you're all just talking $h1t :)

If I remember well, Cai Yun was also playing with Yonex during this tournament. Perhaps the tourney being private, the players can receive money by Yonex just for the tourney's length, before returning to their normal sponsors.

Corporate deals? For comparison Momota just signed a contract worth a million dollar January this year with one of top 10 company in Japan for commercials.

Nehwal was once no 1 (currently 2)and has 9 SS titles, she's one of the front runner for WS Gold in Rio, why would she be tier2?

If one don't have any idea one could look up Forbes list or any other official trusted (government owned) sites like below, they all pretty much sum up that current badminton stars are multimillionares

Because in terms of major aspirations she's entirely secondary to the Chinese WS squad and some other players as well (RI up to a certain point, CM,...).
The only way she wins a Gold at WC or OG is if her SF and Final opponents get injured like Wang Xin did.

Being brands ambassador for major corporations in India (which privilige wasn't offered to other mentioned players) I guess help propelled her up the money section.

Their figures are quite accurate as if you compared it with websites the likes, such as Forbes. It's just an information to actually tell you that badminton is lucrative these days(which is good for young aspiring players to build their dreams towards the sports). Momota's news was on Yahoo Japan which I think is legit as I based my daily news on the website.

It's also something that you could easily estimate, as for example if you look at LCW's cars or Taufik's arena those easily worth a few million dollars, and it's just something I stumbled upon on Youtube.
    Seeing is believing?

I'm not debating they're wealthy, I'm debating the figures. Knowing how the wealthy chronically tax avoid and grossly underestimate their income - not to mention they're not legally obliged to give that information to anyone except the government - means I wouldn't trust those figures st all

It's up to yourself to what you would trust right? I would say the numbers are pretty legit (I mean it's from trusted websites like Yahoo, Forbes, BWF) and it's okay that we don't share the same opinion.^^

My easiest calculation would be from their dens and cars. Somehow I know how to do the math because I'm also a breadwinner who provide house and ride for my family. ^^
