Personally I dont think it makes the match more exciting. I'd have preferred seeing Lee/Yoo in the Final where the quality of badminton is concerned - I'm afraid the Russians won't play many rallies against the Japanese, and while I like Endo/Hayakawa's chances against those guys better than those against Lee/Yoo, I don't think the match will be as good to watch as it would've been had Lee and Yoo won.

Btw, since streams are blocked here (and uploads are embarrassingly slow), did Sozonov improve his serve to the point where more than 2/10 are legal? He used to serve ridiculously high. Then again, so did/does Yoo :D
Really rooting for Endo/Hayakawa tomorrow, they deserve to finally take this title home! 4 SF in a row, and they always give it their all and play exciting badminton...one of the best (as in, most entertaining) MD pairs to watch! Looking forward to the upload of the match against Fu/Zhang...

Also, looking forward to seeing Nozumi Okuhara in the Final. Very strong year for her so far...can she do the Li Xuerui...? :D (GO win->AE win->OG Gold) Doubly glad that she got to the final by beating that hearing hazard. Otherwise the WS final probably would've been the loudest of all time with WSX in it as well...

You are right. Now the Japanese MD is sure to win the match tomorrow. To be honest brother I am so sad to see LYD / YYS lose today. I am a great supporter of LYD / YYS. I wanted both to win but then to be honest LYD keeps making mistakes after mistakes making me so disappointed.

I still remembered vividly last year 2015 I purposely buy the flight ticket to All England to watch LYD / YYS play live at the stadium. I supported them and kept shouting for them to win last year. I was so disappointed when both of them lose to Mads Pieler Kolding / Mads Conrad Peterson in the first round of the match. I felt so sad after the whole match is over that I cried the whole day non stop.

This time it is still the same I am crying now seeing both of them lost again.

I may sound presumptuous but imo regardless who wins this ms match. Lin dan is on a different level. The outcome of the finals should be a predictable one.

I think LD's most ardent fan will be in for some thrills and spills tomorrow. Hope LD will continue with his winning streak, but THW can't be a pushover.

I think they will say the same for the MD match which favourite KOR lost.
Upsets are aplenty and tomorrow may continue with more surprises!

So in the finals we will all be treated to players from different nationalities except for the MS.

    MS China versus China

    WS Japan versus China

    MD Japan versus Russia

    XD Denmark versus Indonesia

    WD Japan versus ????

Yeap, it is possible that there could be an upset. Guess we have to wait for tomorrow match to know the results.

You must be a 'clean' mascot for THW for him to win!

agree. THW's play looks rather ordinary.

in fact, we have not seen MS at the level of LD/LCW's prime for a long time.

Too bad, no Hawk-Eye or Ct 2. I hope all semifinals at the SS level are equipped with IRS ( Hawk-Eye) on both courts; better still, from QFs onward.
