Was busy over the weekend...didn't visit B.C. site for the past two days.
Thought l had visited the wrong site, checked the website address again!
Now, I just started to explore this new upgraded website, not sure of and how the new or improve features yet but l believe it should be for the better.

Kudos to the team/person who put this up together!

*Appreciate all this hardwork for all the forumers

I am keeping a TODO list in post #4.

As you can see, the list is long, so please bear with me when I try to handle them one by one.

That seems to be done as well. It propably needed some time to "notice" the post count.

yes. for most people, but some members like demolidor it is still "New Member". very strange.

there is a promotion system which, depending on some criteria like post count or number of like, will grant member new title. Kinda interesting to have but certainly not high in my priority list at the moment.

Ah right, well there has been talk of Quebec getting a franchise again in the last couple of years (Phoenix might be relocated) so who knows.

I don't know if 'resizing' works though. Maybe for you the admin it shows up but I didn't see any fluid option on the preference/style page.
And indeed, most names already had regular member next to it right away. I even went to check if my post count was still there :D

edit: oh wait now I see the toggle button :) (thought you meant in the preferences user menu)

And this is the link many 'last message' posts have: http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/index.php?posts/0/ If you hover above 'Latest' on for example the video section it will have that link rather than the actual last post link.

Strange, maybe some people are a little bit slower errr for some people it is a little bit slower.

On a side note: the fresh design makes me want to post more often. Job well done. :D

Congratulations on the successful update. This kind of thing has to way to get more complicated than expected.

The new style is more in line of the current style. Especially, it should be more convenient for tablet use.

Nevertheless, is there a way to select the "classic style"? I prefer a more compact presentation where more subjects and messages can be shown at once.

One other beef is that the Page Count for a subject is hidden by default and shown only when hoovering over the subject. It would be more convenient to show that information by default, for a quick gauge of the level of activities for multiple subjects.

it's way convenient now with a touchscreen device :) So, for me a very nice upgrade. It's just funny. I thought i was on a wrong website or someone spoofed me.

    Actually, not just that.

I am using surface pro. A touchscreen device (tablet) with pc soul. And the buttons are somehow more responsive to touch. Could be just my giddy good feeling to the new forum though :)

    Hi (khun) kwun and team,

    Thanks for making bc possible.

Would like to request, under preferences to have the option to view newest message (of a thread) first (was available with the old software.....)

    Thanks again.

    1. Scroll down to the bottom of the page.

    2. Click "Open the Quick Navigation"

    3. Click "Recent Activity".

Seems like a lot of works!! :p
