Not that we know of, and in Japan, most likely you be only able to find the Calibers and Luminasonics you can find in their websites.

Is there a reason why they might only sell Calibers and Lumiasonics in Japan and not the rest of their lineup? It is a Japanese brand and you would think they would have lots of stores carrying all their rackets.

I'm not too sure whether will the shops in Japan carry as they might, but the current range is definitely distributed in Asia .

    Hi pizzaboi,
I'm a little confused. The Racket Selector Matrix chart shows JPX8.0, JPX8.1 have the heaviest head, while JPX8.3 is slightly head-light. So if I want to go for balanced play and fast exchange, should I still go for 8.0 and 8.1 (at least for JPX series)? I'm seriously thinking buying one from this series, but I want to clarify this first. Really appreciate your reply. Capture.JPG

It was a year ago since I went, but if I remember right I went to this shop in Shibuya and got an S-Tour. Zoom in, you should see the sign for Wembley 3F, take the lift up.

http://www.bps-wembley.com/shop/shibuya.php - looks like they have other branches too

It might be worth noting that I found prices in Tokyo/Osaka are slightly higher than prices in smaller cities like Kobe, although not by any significant margin. If I remembered right, sometimes you can get tax discount or extra discount paying in cash but it really depends on the shop. I also got a free small bag and Endo/Hayakawa poster from a shop in Kobe :)

PS: I did take a look in shuttle house and they were out of stock of a few Mizuno rackes, and the shop itself isn't as big as others that I visited

Hi, replied via your FB pm.

In short, I noticed that the racket selection chart is off from our original draft, and we will be making the necessary changes for our new catalogues.

Of course, once we finalise the new catalogue, i should have no problem posting the racket selection chart.

I'm coming from a Yonex NANO Z Speed and VF2. Which Mizuno to get for an alternative? JPX 8.3? Or Calibre Tour S?

If you are going back to stiff and head heavy rackets,

    JPX 8.3 , stiff , BP 295mm, 85gm tension max 30lbs
    Caliber S Tour stiff, BP 300mm , 4UG5 tension 23-27 lbs
Caliber F Tour stiff, BP 305mm, 3UG5 tension 24-30 lbs
Tachyon 9.7 stiff, BP 295mm 4UG5, tension max 30lbs ( titanium lines in shaft )

I just got my VS tour (and not VA as mentionned before, the shop get me the wrong racket but nevermind, i was hesitating between both so i took it anyway).

I'll try to play with it tonight and give my first impression on it.

On dry swing, it seems to be heavier than my 4U MX80 even if the overall weight is lighter (89gr with string, overgrip and plastic wrap for the VS tour and 92gr for the MX80).
I havn't measured yet the balance point but the racket seems to be much less aerodynamic with a very large box frame (maybe that's why it swings slower).

It's strung at 26lbs with yonex aerosonic.

Do you have any of the previous generation calibers to compare with?

Thanks to ur guide I got myself at JPX 8.0. Using MT63 strings. Feels much heavier at the head vs Z Speed and VF2.
However the finishing is not good. Mizuno decal at T Joint smudging on both sides. Hologram sticker not pasted well, coming off.

This is a top end racket would expect better. Comparing to Yonex & Victor. Apacs also not so bad actually. Alittle impatience...otherwise will just wait. Maybe just a 1 off.

Will play it when I have the chance.
