It's one of many reasons why badminton will never be a big sport.

I think he has nightmares about winning Olympics plus 20 + majors.

Both THW and CL must be confused. Looks like they are not sure which one of them should progress now that LD is throwing tantrums.

Seriously, why else would he behave like he did tonight? He just can't win the Malaysia Open. No matter how hard he tries, no matter how many finals he makes (3 or 4?) and no matter how many match points he holds, he just can't seem to do it.

Wait for the more decisive moment in upcoming Uber Cup!

Same here....You don't have 90% winning ratio after playing close to 650 matches......That's a joke worth having nightmare.

    Conditions matters.

As Zwiebler said, You can either play outside or in the Malaysia Open, makes no difference.

Wanna ensure best quality of badminton, improve conditions then.

Everyone is in the same boat. The true champion can win anywhere. Even Djokovic, as you'll see soon hehe.

By the way, that's another excuse for China I guess - conditions were bad! Man, this is getting better and better.

THW trailing Chen Long badly now. Must be the bad conditions.

I'm beginning to think like latecomer, influenced by him, convinced that Lin Dan only cares about the Olympics, winning his third gold medal, all the SS titles mean nothing to him - what's MAS PSS but one of the 12 SS titles annually.

He'd rather leave it to his two archrivals to slug it out for the spoils here. The last thing he wants to do is to risk losing to LCW on his homeground, what with other possible extraneous factors coming into play, thereby boosting the latter's morale and psychological advantage. And it'd be no better if he bested LCW only to lose to Chen Long, another archrival, just not worth it.

Still, I can't hide my deep disappointment with his loss to JOJ today whom I believe must be pretty surprised at such an easy victory.
