@jma97 I think it all depends. Most of the time MD match should be played in such a manner. MS 1- Son Wan Ho MD 1 - Ko Sh / Shin Baek Cheol MS 2 - Lee dong Keun MD 2 - Kim / Kim MS 3 - Jeon Hyeok Jin
i do too but it's likely they won't get picked for the olympics? they may get picked for the thomas cup tho i guess
Son WH's straightforward game is unlikely to cause Sony much trouble, at most even, it's his superiority in fitness that gives him a clear advantage. But, still, fitness is one thing, skills and experience, another.
Sony is as cool as a cucumber as he totally controls the proceedings, leading 11-5 at the interval. The question is: can he maintain his momentum and stamina?
To be honest, the most pleasing to the eyes has got to be LCW - can't deny his recovery after doing a big smash from the back court is "poetry in motion", as GC always says. Spent a long time trying to emulate this movement in my own game, and still trying hehe.
Sony is doing fine so far. Son a bit tentative, still feeling his way with his not-so-familiar opponent.
Most of the time lyd / yys will be rested. Even during the recent badminton tram championship LYD / YYS also didn't play so that will be the true picture.
Sdk doesn't smash his way through (probably can't do that too due to injuries), instead he moves his opponent around before going for the kill. He doesn't scramble around court too. Good skill and smooth style. It's really nice to watch him play again.
