LD's just like that, he does whatever he wants. He would even walkover for his friends in the past like Chen Jin. He's saving the best for last.
I think Lee Chong Wei is getting better and better. Furthermore this is China Open. So unexpected and what a win.
Nope, the logic was Dan supposedly won in straight or he would lose as just happened. Missed the G1 narrowly sealed the match outcome.
Probably LCW coaches have already analysed LD play. LCW looked calm and didn't not panic while trailing in game 1. But LD is no ordinary player, he will be back.
@Oldhand I know, but someone posted a picture yesterday of Lin Dan training, he had one of his legs wrapped up. Think he was injured and didn't want to play the third?
Congratulations LCW Extremely Well played. Unfortunately, Lin Dan ran out of water, food and shelter in the third game. But he had to pay the price for it one day. A revenge in the Olympics would be like a world war 3. But today, you are the winner and he is not.
First game was so already faked that I knew LD would just ensure he could get gold in Rio. Nothing else matters to LD.
Black shirts color in unlucky this time, since SN and LD are losing after using the same shirt color. What a coincidence for the SF.
You've to probe Lin Dan's mind. Just thinking aloud - What's the use of beating LCW when he's already tired , only to lose to Chen Long tomorrow? And whatever the outcome here, it's not going to improve his ranking or R2R; as for the Rio seeding, there's the INA PSS and AUS Open to do something about it. He himself said yesterday, if the BAC is not held in Wuhan, China, he'd probably skip it to prepare for the Thomas Cup. Well, I think Lin Dan knows what he's doing, playing five tournaments in a row for a 32-yr-old is no joke.
Who cares about the score in game 3? lcw ran away early and then it was just wasted time as ld didn't or couldn't make the effort to come back! Both players know what happened. Ofc it's good signs for lcw but he is aware that such a set won't happen in Rio if they meet! Set 1 was more telling. When lcw injected pace ld needed a few points to cope with it! I still wonder how or why ld gave away game 1 Ofc lcw plaýed his part, but it was more lds fault...
Not a very interesting match and ahem... your prediction... What can I say? How more tainted can it be?
I find merit in this. It's impossible to believe that Lee Chong Wei has improved so much in the intervening weeks (the break he took from the Singapore Open and China Masters) that he can obliterate Lin Dan 21-4 in a game. It might be pure conjecture but I find it logical that Lin Dan probably held back in Game 3, maybe because he was feeling physically uncomfortable. After all, who would want to risk injury in a GP Gold event when the Olympics is just around the corner? In any case, this doesn't mean Lee Chong Wei's win today is any less meritorious than any of his previous victories over Lin Dan.
