Before the 2014 WC , he also had low or no confidence going to the major after the Thomas Cup debacle, but looked what happened - he beat LCW for the WORLD CROWN !

Fret not, Chen Long stumbled at the Thomas Cup earlier and he will be more determined than ever to redeem himself and make amends at Rio. Furthermore, Wang Shixian has given him all her luck for missing out of Rio herself ! She'll be waiting patiently at home for him to bring back the Olympic gold medal as a wedding present. Chen Long shall not disappoint her.:):D Wedding bells will be ringing, then.

Srikanth vs JOJ , would be a crucial match for SK.

Saina vs Li xuerui in the quarters.

P V Sindhu vs Tai tzu ying. I hope she ll give a good fight. Hoping for an upset. I want to watch her match against Wang yihan.

If both Sindhu and Saina reaches Quarters, both will meet chinese Players. I wish both of them to beat their respective Chinese players provided they reach Quarters.

I wish Kevin Cordon to play well in the group.

JOJ will have trouble in the Group stage itself. His slayer Brice is there . He will surely won't surrender tamely to JOJ.

Not to mention that he only has to play LD/LCW, not both

Looks like so, this is it. I did not see the actual draw procedure. From the draw schedule, it does appear that players from the same nation will be split into opposite half and not like the previous OLY where there was a random draw after the group stage.

There was no re draw last oly hence they all tried to place themselves by losing after seeing certain results. But ever since there has been.

Yes you are correct. So, this time, looks like the winner of each group advance to the KO stage as per the Draw Schedule, right???

I think Viktor should be fancying his chances here for a place in the final. I think 50-50 between Chen Long and Viktor.

LCW and VA have good draw through to SF. CL has fun with KC and SWH before he meets VA, tricky. Exciting times ahead.

IMO, because WS has no clear favorite so each group is tough. WYH half looks easier than the top half.

If you go off of form you have to fancy Axelsen to beat Chen Long
