    China wins due to head-to-head.

This is also why the Danes are currently top of the group, despite their points difference losing to the Koreans.

the Korean and Danish are almost thro', unless the Luo sister win the last match 2-0 with nett 27 pts or more, e.g. 21-8, 21-7

What will the Koreans no1 doubles (in this case I'm talking about both women and mens doubles) benefits if they lose while their no2 doubles top their respective groups? I really can't understand this

The Chinese may want to avoid meeting their country's other pair but what about the Koreans?

no, if Luos win 2-0 all 3 pairs ended up with 2 wins and 4-2 games then will be down be points differences.

Should we be excited for the Marin vs Line Kjaersfeldt match? Line has been a rising star for a while now, is she enough to take on the unadulterated raw testosterone that is Carolina Marin?

Anyway; the results are barmey. Anybody who predicted these results (the only important doubles match left is the Luo twins') deserves to be in a mental institute.

Edit: Oops, I lie. The current Olympic champions are still playing for top of the group against the Indonesians.

We'd like to be. She's probably not ready (yet), but it's not impossible.

    now the interesting part.

the Chinese team gotta know that they can only conceded 15 points max. if they don't, then they failed as a team and don't deserve to advance.

now, we should see the Luo sisters coming out blazing with huge cannon at their full power trying to stop Lee/Obanana. that will be really interesting to see. it is like living with a 27 point handicap.

the other part of the equation is, do Lee/Obanana know it? do they care? what would they do if they know? what if they don't?

A walkover would result in all previous matches also being annulled. Therefore it would appear to be a group of 3.

If they stood there and let the Chinese win 42 consecutive points, then the twins would top the group, and the Americans would face a match-fixing scandal.

interestingly if the American withdrawn with their matches being anuuulled the Danish and Chinese pairs both ended up with same matches won, games/points difference thus the Luo sister will go thro'

    so, there is still hope
