remember, yamaguchi knows okuhara's game better than any other opponent does, and vice-versa.

the ?'n is... who has the secret adjustment?

To think that Malaysia has more representatives than China in final is crazy. Who would've thought?

I think she's afraid to play the net. She has lost essentially all the net duels so far

because it drives those strong country to try even harder to rank themselves such that their seeding separates them. plus a bit of luck. the remaining "weaker" countries, gets screwed. another great plan from BWF.

This match has me on edge like no other....I really want Nozomi to win, although Yamaguchi is probably in my favorite Top3 of the remaining WS players as well

Why is that crazy? China got it what deserved by sending a bunch of physically declining players to the game. China only has itself to blame. In contrast, Malaysia has a bunch of young and upbeating players.

it's really an incredible outing for the Malaysians. who would have thought 2 pairs in final already. will strike gold first time in history.

Akane should lose some weight and change her hairstyle but don't adopt the revolutionary Kim Jong Un's hairstyle. It will make her more interesting. I saw Nozomi while she was younger and she used to have same hairstyle with Akane. Nozomi changed her hairstyle and she is pretty good looking now.
I will not surprise if Akane beat Nozomi. After All England, Nozomi always plays an ordinary Top 10 badminton like Sung Ji Hyun. It will enough to bring you to QF but rarely giving you a title.

Its crazy because before the Oly, Goh/Tan were very much a Tier2 pair, and Chan/Goh werent on anyones list to beat ZZ either. Oh, and dont forget about the WS surprise.

On a side note, these Olympics arent going my way at all. Sindhu wins, so does Marin. Lee/Yoo out as well as endo/Hayakawa. Next thing you know LCW loses the QF and then the only match I still care about would be the mD final - which, with my luck, the Malaysians would win because one of the Chinese injures himself or something.

Nozomi removed her yellow necklace and put it in her kitty. Now she is playing well. Psychology !

despite having a track record of almost zero delay, Nozomi Express has left the station and going full speed ahead, leading 12-9.

    anyone get the reference?

there is no such thing as a perfectly fair draw, so why stress over it.

you want the gold medal? simple, beat everyone you play.
you want the world title? simple, beat everyone you play.
you want the <insert tournament here> trophy? simple, beat everyone you play.

draws aren't designed to engineer who finishes 2nd or 3rd.

Not so fast, she is one game down, and the score is still close 14-11.
