Direct Sports has got the Olympic kits now (including, for the first time ever, all four sleeveless versions and all four shorts).

But for that money? Maybe if they'd won gold...

It was always going to split opinion, but it can't be called uninteresting.

    Unlike the Korean kit.

I was able to preorder the korean kit in Canada for that 1 day window.. black (sleeves) and the blue (sleeveless). It's a shame all they came out with was a Bronze in WD compared to silvers in XD and MD for Malaysia. Would've been nice if they had a kit for Lilyana and Tontowi.

Was it worth it? i like the colors... but i don't think i'll be buying any new clothes anytime soon. I'm already pushing my luck with the wife.

As the saying goes, "you can't please all the people, all of the time."

I like the Korean kit but not a great fan of the Malaysian although have to admit it looked pretty good on TV. The big issue here is that Korea bombed in the Olympics and this will force a change at the top. There are plenty of rumours over a number of retirements including world number 1's LYD and YYS. Whether this is knee jerk response to the poor Rio results is anyone's guess.

The lack of TV coverage will not help sales. Malaysia were in two doubles finals wearing this kit so they stand a chance of selling seasonably well, especially in Malaysia.

I decided against ordering these shirts on the basis that i have enough new shirts this year. I really don't need anymore and most certainly wouldn't want matching shorts too.

If Victor hadn't released visually similar shirts recently, then I think most people would rather like it.
However, too much of a good thing..

It was funny that the Yonex sponsored people just wore that stripey kit, and very few countries also had dedicated team kits.

TK 9900 release has been cancelled. Still waiting to see if there will be a replacement.

The Thruster series is next on the chopping block - Bravesword went two years ago, then Meteor last year. If they scrapped the 9900 so they could work on the replacement, could be a blessing in disguise.

But they're living off the Jetspeeds at the moment, annoyingly, and the next big release will be the J12.

Son WanHo still uses the MX80, right? I'm hoping they'll have to make a replacement for him that the public can also get ahold of.

The TK series hasn't got major update since the 9000, I guess there would be an updated 9900 before scrapping the series all together.

Putting player rackets aside, judging from the BS (9,10,11,12,15), meteor (70,80,90), hypernano (800, P, C) and jetspeed (8, 9, 10, 12) the TK (8000, 9000) still lacking one or two major release.

I'm not like most people, then, because I will get a third racket before the season starts and a fourth as soon as I can :D

I had my fingers crossed for a 4/5 Hypernano - MX80 stiffness and balance, but with a small head. That would be pretty much my perfect racket, in fact.
