Ginting, Maulana and Jonatan probably have hit a ceiling. I hope INA will bring Hendrawan back.

I just finished watching the last 2 sets of the match between Maulana and Zhao on YouTube . I must say I am not convinced about Zhao's ability yet. Maulana gifted Zhao far too many points. He smashed out so many times including sitters, not to mention his careless net returns. Not a convincing win for Zhao. Haven't seen Zhao's match against Ginting yet.

I agree with you about Zhao v ASG. Anthony looked a little jaded and lacklustre, but to give Zhao credit his defence and smashes against Maulana caused a tired and frustrated player into making mistakes and unforced errors, especially when he was leading 14-7 in the third game.
But Zhao has quite an effective smash which gets him easy points. Interesting to see who gets into the final today.
Quite a good outing for the chinese junior men, though.

Yup, I thought it would be Ihsan victory when he managed healthy lead 14-7 but Zhao showed good fighting spirit and refused to give up to catch up, level and seal the match.

Of the three CHN MS, only Huang Yuxiang is experienced and smart enough to deal with Wei Nan, the other two are relative greenhorns. Still I give the clear edge to Wei Nan who is good for the title.

HYX got to play good placement shots and keep WN guessing, not easy as WN is very experienced, defend smashes well enough, the hardest part, and be ready to challenge the net to prevent WN setting up for the kill.

Clever play by HYX so far.

WN biding his time to launch his missiles.

Wei Nan is capable of suddenly fighting back, after adjusting and tweaking his game. Expect a tighter G2.

Lifting half court to Wei Nan is suicidal.

Chen Yu is the coach for the CHN 2nd tier MS and he's doing a very good job.

You simply cannot play predictably against WN, he anticipates very well and sets himself up for the kill, commanding the rallies.

Once WN sees that you're going to lift, he gets behind the shuttle quickly and thunders down the smash.

The commentator doesn't know how to pronounce HYX's name correctly.

Huang Yuxiang is also a thinking player, this makes it a very interesting match of wits as well.

HYX's net play not tight enough, not easy to do due to higher rate of error.
