Hello Jainil, I indeed left Dakar already 1 year ago and went back to Europe. I am not sure if Marie is still there - however, I am still in contact with the initiator of the Badminton club in Dakar and they are still playing. So, please do contact Khalil and say hi from Andy. Excellent, sounds you are finding your way around. The French Military Compound is now also playing with the Dakar group ... so, you will find the same people. I am not sure anymore when Khalils group is playing, but try to go on Sunday at 12:00 to the sports hall of the American School on the Corniche. Ciao Andy
Hello Imran, I also recently arrived (end of Aug 2016) to Dakar from Canada. I played a few years in a recreational club and am an intermediate player, maybe less if compared to serious players. I would also like to look into playing badminton a couple of times per week - mostly for the exercise and socializing. My shipment arrives in perhaps 5-6 weeks so no rackets until then. Have you heard of any clubs in existence? Ron
i have just arrived. we will find some good place to play. i would also prefer to play 2 to 3 days in week or fitness. dont worry i have 2 rackets and few shuttle. we can enjoy.
