I tested AdiZero Pro for first time this week, and it might be an old racket these days but...OMG what a racket!!! I've test hundreds of rackets and AdiZero Pro was something spectacular to me as an doublesplayer....fast with massiv power. Just had to say it! Give it a try!
Being a sort of nosy person, I dug a little deeper on these Adidas racquets which are still around. Seems that these are still the previous stock being sold off. There must be a fair amount of inventory left over. To be honest, if you like it and it's cheap, just buy 6 or 7 of the racquets. I did that as a student - I wanted more racquets but could only afford one or two of the top range. So, in the end, I got a cheaper racquet and bought 4 of them. That brand was ProKennex.
Could we get any information about the company of Adidas badminton business licensee (shoes, rackets and so on) ?
from what i know, the II version is from a different (better) factory but as close as possible to the originals specs...
That I can't say but definitely, it is not part of the present Adidas badminton. That saying, if it is cheap, good and fit your playing style, then go for it. (It could be an enterprising businessman captilising on the Adidas name during its interim state trying to make some quick sales with a slightly different racquet)
It's bloody tough to get some products now. I have two clubmates with "sponsorship" contact, and it's hard for them too to get some stuffs. Did Adidas got lost in badminton? I think they shouldn't with those good products.
I quite enjoy my (80gr) adizero pro's in doubles and mixes. So fast and powerful. They do miss some stability and precision for my singles. I play with my trusty sw35 as well. For doubles it's pretty even in different ways, but singles the SW35 is still king.
Nah, since my experience with the BT Feather and the adidas staff here I avoided their Badminton related products.
Hehe. Im really curious about the latest shoes but the price made me think is it worth it, maybe I should stick with Lining shoes.
Package from Adidas just arrived...will test them this evening! Adidas shoes by Super85 posted Nov 3, 2016 at 4:47 PM
First test with Wucht P8 Boost was successfully for me (my regular shoes is shb02ltd). They are pretty wide in toe like shb02, but the fabric is much stiffer with the Adituff layer around so the frontfoot felt tight in a good way. The Boost heel felt nice to, not too soft when you use the whole sole to push away. In the end...a very nice contender to shoes like Yonex shb 02.
I would say it depends on which size you reading from. For example, Adidas don't have the same euro size chart like Yonex... For me is Yonex euro 42 not the same size like Adidas 42, but they do list US 9 the same if you compare with Japan (cm) size... and that is how I had to do it (plus test some other adidas shoes in store as an benchmark)
