I think xu ya is not feeling well. She is making a big thing about that. Afraid I disagree that the Chn pair have powerful smashes. Quite the opposite I feel. I agree they will lose as they appear dispirited.

TheJPN are standing one slightly in front of the other, unlike the CHN girls always side-by-side

What to do, the schedule is such that those who do double duty might end up playing four matches a day in the early rounds, and it's the second week of the tournament. Anybody would be drained going the full distance in consecutive weeks, plus double duty thrown in.

Thats why S.Feixiang and Chen Yufei are so clever. They played well enough to beat their opponents in the early rounds. They showed their real game in the final.

At first , the Chinese duo were smashing harder but slow down and soften mid-way through the grueling three-setter as they started to tire, in my opinion.

Next, how will CHN MD cope with both of them also doing double duty in their second week of badminton? We'll see.

Like I said, the Korean MD pair is real tough, a tricky proposition for the CHN duo.

I hope so Justin. If you dont have power smashes you cant go far. Do Yu's smashes were nothing to speak of. Compare them to CQ and J. Yifan's smashes; they are lethal.

I don't like this Korean MD pair. LIM was such an actor. They were lucky enough to reach finals here. Indian pair had 3 match points but ended up losing after Lim called for doctor at that crucial moment that he could not walk. But when doctor went away, he was the one who jump smashed all the way , disrupting the indian pair's flow .

Hope this Chinese pair show them a lesson.

Really ? I didn't know about that incident, didn't get to watch it. Sorry for the IND pair to lose the matchpoints and then the match even.

Let's see if the CHN can prevail. Hope so.

The way the tournament is organized with both the Mixed team and the Individual events in consecutive weeks and having to play so many rounds to get to the finals,it's esp demanding of the youngsters, the more so for those who do double duty, pushing their stamina and endurance to the limit, more like a contest of fitness than skills in the end.

The commentator is saying one of the CHN MD player (I didn't get to hear his name ) has played 11 matches coming to the final, a total of 450 over minutes of badminton.
