So what exactly is happening to Ma`s olympic prospect? She`s definitely not going to play womens dubs anymore but her mixed doubles ranking is currently at number 3 in the chinese team

Kinda sad if she won't going to Olympic this year, especially since this will be her last chance (I am pretty sure she won't make it to Tokyo). I feel like she deserved another shot at Olympic after contributing so much to China, at least more than LC/BYX have achieved as of now.

Well, then again I cannot blame CBA since her recent performance with XC was not that good. Time definitely has change

Personally, I always wanted to see her play with Liu Cheng. They might have made a better pairing.

Right now, BYX/LC are better than XC/MC, but my general feeling is that its due to the quality of LC. MJ might still have the edge over BYX.

I have been watching the quarters between MJ/XC and KSY/KHN. I was surprised to see how passive was Ma Jin. She tends to be very strict about front/back division, but there even when XC lifted to the back she sometimes remained crouched in the front.

Seems a bit young for Li Bingbing. However, not complaining :p

If I'm not wrong, 27-year-old Ma Long and 28-year-old Zhang Jike are still available, not attached.

Romance in the air ? With whom ?

Looks like Ma Jin is retiring. What a pity.

She also has good dress sense so perhaps there is a future in media for her?

There goes the only one/last few of them that looks like a proper woman on court now. With the feminine dress sense of dress or skorts.
She's so cute, and the makeup she wears to court certainly helps.

In comes those hulkamaniacs that make XD,WS and WD look like MD and MS. Counting skills aside, they look HORRENDOUS with the mushroom hairstyles and one of them, their behavior.... hah, UNCOUTH.

BWF doesn't have to force regulate skirts/skorts, because there aren't much ladies around anyway now.

Think that's a bit unfair on the rest of the players - men included.

They were not trained to be models but athletes.

Back to Ma Jin. She is twenty eight and at an age of intense pressure to get married. Chinese cultural pressures. Well, I wouldn't mind being in the frame but sadly past it. :(
