N90iii s-type What I heard about the N90iii, this was created stiff And then Li Ning came out the 's' type or speed So the N90iii S type was designed for better playability , for public Is this true? Can't find any reviews in this forum about this racket Can someone share some feedback on this racket? Thanks!
Do you mean N9? Because N99 isnt flexible. Light, yeah, but rather stiff. How stiff exactly I cant say, havent played it, but bending it its very stiff by LN standards. Not sure what to make of your comment, I found the N90iii very bendy on drives, to the point where it messed up my timing, and I'm very happy with the N80ii in that regard. I certainly consider the ZF stiff, wouldnt play it I think, even though I like the general feel of it swing-wise. N80ii is my limit, as stiffness goes. At least for prolonged use.
Yes, I meant the N99. It is so flexible that I need to hit the shuttle further in front of me when smashing to compensate. I find the ZFII more bendy on drives than the N90III, at least it is more noticeable. The ZFII feels much more flexible to me when hitting backhands and lifting smashes compared to the N90III.. We should also take in account that no 2 racquets are identical, though I owned 4 ZFIIs and 3 N90IIIs at one point and they are my favourite racquets.
Wow. The ZF felt stiff as a board to me, even though the strings were pretty soft it was still noticeable...and the N90iii I played with perfect strings, had trouble controlling any hard shot...that might have come with time, or maybe it wouldnt have...but I went with the N80ii since it felt so much more natural, and my game is more control-based anyway, rather than being built on my huge smash Anyway, it's interesting how your experience is so much different from mine...objective measurements will probably show that the ZF is significantly stiffer than the N90iii, though will see if I can get to the shop some time soon to put it to rest. I was honestly surprised to see that the N80ii is stiffer than the Arc11, btw. Regarding the N99 - I can only refer to several users here who have pegged it as stiff, and it certainly felt so bending it in the shop...will compare it to the N90iii and N80ii if possible.
I'm with j4ckie here. I think the ZF is slightly stiffer than the N99, but not by much really. The N99 is probably Li-Ning's stiffest racket ever and is by no means flexible, not even when compared to the ZF. The N90III is medium in my opinion and was my go-to doubles racket for a long time until I ditched it for the N80, which was slightly faster and maybe little stiffer. Stiffness: ZF > N99 > N80/N80II > N90III
Appreciate the comparisons for the current LN models This will be my first LN racket I play doubles n come from the Fleet ST-8 To me, the ST-8 has the fastest swing speed on earth right now And what about the N90iii S-Type? Cos this is the one my shop is recommending, saying it's easier to play with Just that I haven't seen much said about this model
The S-type is a much more flexible version. I recommend the normal version, as it is not too stiff or heavy. The N90III is a pretty fast racquet, or Cai Yun wouldn't have used it.
These 2 are such a beauty After trying them both, i found that the N9 actually feels head heavier than the N9II. And the shaft of N9 also seem to be more flexible !
Really? I think the n9II looks way better and cooler than the n9. IMO the n9's colour scheme looks quite dull...
