Does anyone know which of the badminton shops listed in this thread sell junior apparels and shoes? A HK friend brought me to several badminton shops around Mongkok last year, but sadly none of them sells junior apparels and shoes. I'm returning to HK for a short holiday next January.

I really hope to find and buy back some... my shoes are worn out already. My clothes are also getting translucent from regular washings.

I'm getting desperate already, lol. As online and brick and mortar stores don't have my sizes or not importing them due to lack of sale. I don't mind bulk ordering some and ship back home.

    Thanks in advance!

I supposed u are from Sg? If you don't mind Yonex brand, Sunriseclick website got many junior apparels and shoes mah and there are good discounts offered and shipping rate is reasonable. Overall definitely cheaper than buying from HK

Yup, I'm from Singapore. But Sunriseclick stocks ran out of my sizes. I would rather buy from Sunriseclick than elsewhere as Sunriseclick prices are better.

I am a little surprised you have to ask for junior sizes. I have a ten year old who is wearing adult size S.

I suggest you ask MBS stating what sizes and brands there are that you can order for your size. Then go to the shop and try it out. Give them sometime to get the order in I.e. Don't turn up randomly and expect to see stock laid out.

Most shops will not stock an inventory of very small sizes simply because these are slow to sell. MBS got me some Victor shoes for a six year old which I had to make a specific order for.

I'm a very small sized adult, haha. I'm slightly smaller than Matsutomo as a comparison. Adult size S clothes is a little too big (like what Tai Tzu Ying wears usually). XS/XXS would fit me better, depending on whether it's Asian or European cut.

Thanks Cheung, I will check with MBS to see what's available.

    Hello everyone.
Thank you for such a good list of shops/stores in HK. I will be going over to HK in August. I'm hoping to buy some Victor rackets and shuttles. Is there a particular shop that tends to specialise in Victor equipment at reasonable prices?
Thank you in advance for advice and suggestions.

try E78 on the KL side, reasonable price though it's a bit out of the way from normal shopping area. Mybadminton store is on Hong Kong Island.

This may sound crazy, but are there stores here in HK who sell fake/class A badminton shorts/shirts? I hope someone could help. I'll only be in HK for a while. Thank you!

Can I just get a quick opinion while I'm here on holiday in HK? There's a Yonex concession in the WK Square mall in Tsim Tsa Tsui. I was seeing very very decent prices for all the rackets available today (e.g. I'm looking for Nanoray 900's. The pricing was around HKD800). Is anyone able to check if this is too good to be true? I've not seen any other prices as low as this from any other badminton shops.

It is uncommon in HK to have fake racquets. Clones exist but fake is definitely unusual. Maybe it is simply a very good price.

Hey guys, can someone confirm if the address of the following stores in the original post is still correct?
    • Kin Yee - shown as being on Fa Yuen St, but on their Facebook page, the marker is on Sai Yee St?
    • Hippo Sports - shown as being on Hankow Road, but I've seem to have spotted a store in the Google Street view on 97 Fa Yuen St?
    Thanks!

    Hello,

Kin yee has been moved to a new shop, which next to a basketball store called "Shooting Five', located in Fa Yuen Street.
Hippo Sports closed its shop at MongKok already, the result in Hankow Road is correct, that is its original shop.

and there is a new shop in Kwai Fong in recent months, called "Sportsgalaxy", which mainly selling Lining and Victor, price is good and shop owner had good relationship with Lining China, he can help to get some rare items. YOu can check by facebook "@sportsgalaxyhk"

I came across two shops recently which seems pretty reliable:

    KK Sports Shop(Fo Tan):
    https://hk.user.auctions.yahoo.com/hk/user/kksports2013
    http://www.kksportsonline.com/
They're nearby HK Sports Institute at Fo Tan industrial area and do seem to have a very good variety of brands. Their website isn't very updated however but they also have a Facebook page that is updated very frequently.

    OlmSports (Kwun Tong):
    https://www.facebook.com/OlymSportHk/
Was playing nearby at Lam Tin and went to Kwun Tong to buy some other non-badminton related stuff and came across this small shop. Bought a bargain pair of Victor shoes here as they seem to have a huge variety of shoes available at great prices. Also one of the few official Adidas Badminton retailers in Hong Kong.
