I'm surprised even Sportzone didn't have anyone there , it's not like Wuhan is such a remote or underdeveloped place, not at all, it's a vibrant and fast growing city, in fact the province, Hubei, where Wuhan is the capital city, is a thriving economy catching up with the rich coastal region in double quick time.
Sayaka Sato is relentless. Despite being left behind a lot in the first set, she emerged suddenly and took the first set 21-19.
I think the CHN WS is going to come under criticisms and expressions of disappointments and dismay from the former CHN greats, Xie Xingfang and Gong Ruina again. Let's see if Chen Yufei can survive against Sato after dropping G1. Sato's experience and persistence are remarkable, a tricky proposition for the youhtful exuberance of Chen YF.
I guess Chen Yufei went for broke in G2, winning 21-10, but she'd better learn to pace herself well, don't overuse her energy in G2 and leave too little for the decider; that takes experience where young players like her are wanting.
They sure still can, if they can win this tournament. Thinking they have too many stage frights but it should be easy till final on paper. many points to defend in indonesia.
Huang/Wang beat the 'over under-performing' Goh/Tan easily 21-19, 21-16. Thank goodness it is over now. Can't waste my time to watch awful pair.
Tai TY cruised to the QFs, not tested at all in the first two rounds. A tall order for the two prospective opponents of hers who are stretching each other now and didn't have it easy in their respective R1 either.
Yeah, that's what I suspected, the anti-corruption drive goes deep and wide in every aspect of society across the whole of China.
Hmm...Chen Yufei actually ran away with the match in G2 and G3, 19-21, 21-10, and 21-9 in 69 mins. Not what I expected, Sayaka Sato is a tough nut to me.
