Badminton Stringing Pattern ?... all models

I just received a "Victor Jetspeed S 06 A". Have never seen this model before. It seems that I can do a standard YY pattern for the mains, however it has, what looks to be, shared holes at B/b6, B/b8 and B/b9. How would you do a 2-piece job on this?

 

Good question. I think I would skip the bottom cross to open the grommet up.

 

So start tie-off 6, start at 9? I just tried putting a piece of string in 9 and it just looks like another is needed in 8 :/

 

Either that or try to do 2 knots on the same grommet?

 

Haha ok, I think I will go for the standard YY pattern What is up with Victor rackets and their weird stringing patterns btw? The two middle mains are tilted inwards. Only "normal" racket I've encountered has been the Jetspeed S12/10.

 

Don't mind about the mains. The middle mains should come out straight. It's just the picture which put in the strings digital. Don't mind about that. I recommend to insert U-grommets around the t-joint, if you get this racket.

 

I got a string job for it tomorrow and I already did, but thanks for the advice! Would you also go with a standard YY patern?

 

What else? Haribito is not worth the hassle, simple 1-piece and dealing with additional 5m on one side of the mains?-Nah. If the pattern don't require 1-piece - everything goes YY.

Yes. An old school stringing gimmick without any effect whatsoever (says even her dad who is stringing her rackets that way). This has been discussed about a dozen times in various threads already.

There's one tiny advantage I can see: You can avoid threading two possibly nasty shared grommets there.

Is the pattern for the ZF and ZF2 the same?

 

Exact same pattern Reverse outer mains, tie off at 8th, start crosses at 9th with tie off at 6th. Tie off at the top at 5th

 

We recently purchased a z-strike which the vendor strung differently than the Yonex recommended pattern. Going clockwise from the top right ours has knots/tie offs at a5, b8, b8 and b9. The recommended pattern has one at b6. Does this have any impact on performance, structural integrity of the frame, string life, etc?
