I hope fortune falls to Thailand team. Let's destroy this DEN team. THAI WS will trounce DEN WS, their XD, and MD still have a chance. Go Rexy...

Lets's see, I pick JPN and TPE to duplicate their group results by beating MAS and KOR once again.

THA might able to dispose DEN. With sure point in WS, pretty strong XD and WD (tall order but still possible). MS & specially MD will go to DEN.

IND vs CHN, no chance for IND, already consider get good result if they can steal 1 point from CHN

I believe they were not looking down to Mogensen/Boe. It's only their style, specially Kevin that "choosed" cocky character.

It is going to be XD first as Ponnappa will play twice. India will be down 3-0 anyway so Sindhu won't need to play at all.

    + plus their top XD.

it'll take them a while to recover but i think they have some good young players... they did well to reach the QF (i'm guessing they'll be knocked out by chinese taipei @ QF stage...) and it was a good experience for the young future stars so!!

i'm mostly feeling pretty positive about how they played considering their situation, the inexperience of majority of their players, etc.

It wont affect them, Naturally that is his character, that is why he is good at provacting opponent on the field because he is just naturally talented. If he loses, he loses., he wont lose no sleep. Kim's was different - thats what make them retire.

Had INA fielded the line-up as it did against the DEN today, good chance it would have been INA in QF i/o IND.
Wonder what the strategists (coaching team or whoever) thought earlier in deciding the line-up vs IND.

It is Susi Susanti. She is too arrogant/overreaching to play Towi/Gloria.

No, I don't mean that they "disrespect" Mogensten/ Boe-- I'm not a snowflake and I believe anything goes on court if it's not against the rules-- I mean that their "style" won't work ON Mogensten/ Boe...

In fact, I believe that their "style" will work AGAINST them in the long run-- the way Koo Kean Kiat and Tan Boon Heong's "style" basically ensured that they never won a world title...

I cant see Carolina Marin one of my favorite player. Just love her shouts and sincerity.

I mean Thai& Jap bowing but are they really sincere?

There is nothing wrong shouting to motivate yourself as the only good player from your country vs other countries who are much stronger than your country, Just using your weapon for that matter.

And shouting is also tiring thats why not many people like to shout. IT expands lots of energy.

It is not only limited to the (natural) character of the individual athlete but also the society (i.e. nation) --thus the responsibility & pressure-- where the athlete belongs to.

Needless to say the the situations and conditions of the two nations differ very much, also the characteristics and culture between the two!

Does the Indonesian team employ a "video analysis" crew or not? Even China started using around before Cai Yun and the old guard started retiring-- you know, quantitative analysis on the % of time a player serves high/ low, smashes straight/ cross-court, etc.-- I mean, Ponnappa is not exactly a new player...

I'm sure Denmark and other European countries (maybe not England, they have no funding now) uses them-- that's why the DEN WS was NEVER surprised by any of Fitriani's shots, even if she might not be able to return it...

Yes, they have negative results against the heavy experience Boe/Mogensen so far. But their last 2 defeats, happended not in ideal condition (in Singapore they lost after 4 tournaments in row)

TBH I am hoping their not changing this "style" yet, It's still effective and proved gave them fruitful results
