Sun Yu is actually much taller-- and actually has a more attacking playstyle... which actually makes her more error and injury prone.

CHN has been trying to find or make another Zhang Ning/ Xie Xinfang (see also LI Xuerui)... for the last two Olympic cycles.

Yet another gem that didn't "fit" into the CHN and SGP training/ selection structure...

the plus side is she won't suffer from over training, like so many top asian stars nowadays.

Actually I saw Sun yu playing Beiwen Zhang. She was keep on adjusting her shorts. I don't know whether it irritates her or not. Hope she corrects it before her next tournament.

Singapore open? It's only an SS, not SSP.
But yeah, Indian MS looks promising.

None of the seed won for MS and WS, the winners were unseeded!

The Indian coach for their Men's singles is the ex Indonesian coach of Taufik, no wonder his effort has shown in his home country.

Indonesia has no talented MS or WS. They should get him back.
