Great to see a Japanese player using English. Taking a leaf out of Viktor's books to increase international appeal.

1 hr 50 mins, i.e. 110 minutes of dramatic badminton, down to the wire, both players pushed to the limit and tested in all departments of the game. Marvellous, wonderful to watch.

Me too, but can you believe that match, it was insane, I mean they were so spent still making an extra shot every time.
PVS had her moments she went a lil defensive in the end, was nervous, but you see the brilliance, these two surely the best at the world right now.
The best discipline the best match.
PS still lil mad at the umpire, she was annoying.

It must be soooo hard for PVS to take it, I am on the verge of tears, but to think of it, they produced the greatest match of all time

Nozomi showed true grit until the very last moment even when she was behind at one stage

Just curious, is the blue tartan presented to the players specially designed for this match or does it it belong to a specific scottish clan?
