They send Tanongsak to Glasgow too.

Yeah, it seems like now Indonesia does not have that much depth in the strength unlike in the past.
Many good players but they are just that. Good but even when they are at their best, still way below the best of INA.

Jojo will have the chance for gold, seems like Jojo is doing well in multi-event games.

This is the worst result we have ever had in perhaps the entire history of SEA Games. We have always had the most of gold medals during all history of SEA Games. Except for this year! This is very embarassing. Fortunately there is still gold medal for men's team, but there is still something very wrong with the internal organisation of PBSI.

We have players with great potential during junior (MS: Jojo, Ginting and Ihsan, MD: Fajar Rian etc to say the least) but all of them withered during senior stage.
If this continues we will lose Apri, Gregoria, Fadia, Rehan and the others.

Wiranto should resign. He has no care of PBSI.

Yeah, after wasting a 12-8 lead in the second set, lost 20-22 due to their own mistakes.
Gold to THA XD pair, thanks to MAS pair for hitting the net almost every time.

MAS badminton team need to hire a sport psychologist....weak mental strength at crucial stages of matches or tournament....

    This is ridiculous.
They must go back to school and train how to make a shot pass the net!
    For goodness' sake!

What can I say? All the same thing that caused them to lose. All lifted smash goes out/wide.

Congrats Thailand. From the very beginning their strategy is to be tye overall winner of badminton in SEA Games. They send their best MD XD to KL. The gold medal in MD is a surprise, but Busanan's lost in WS is not predicted by THA official. Congrats for Rexy, he just shows PBSI it was a big mistake to let him go. Susi made a promising progress in WS dept, but overall it's a downgrade.
    Susi VS Rexy H2H : 1 - 2
Rexy won in SEA Games and Sudirman cup. Susi won in WBC.

Wiranto won't resign. He and his backers already spent a lot of money to get elected. All these people only care are power and ability to control taxpayer money to their own benefit.

None of the spineless PBSI members who voted Wiranto will ever do anything. They will just spin Towi/Butet success story to justify their choice

and 5 silver medals, including 1-2 finish in WS.
4 of those could be gold, MD, XD, Men, Women.
But their mental level is just horrible, gifting free points and the match to their opponent.
How many times MAS had the lead, only to lose?

    2017 Malaysia 1 Gold, 5 Silver, 2 Bronze
    2015 Malaysia 2 Gold, 4 Silver, 2 Bronze
2013 Malaysia 1 Gold, No Silver, 3 Bronze
2011 Malaysia No Gold, 1 Silver, 2 Bronze
    2009 Malaysia 2 Gold, 2 Silver, 5 Bronze
2007 Malaysia No Gold, No Silver, 4 Bronze

In last 10 years participation of Malaysia, itsn't too bad. Max 2 Gold, and the worst in 2007 & 2011 with No Gold.

2000 Malaysia 2 Gold, 1 Silver, 7 Bronze (Malaysia as HOST).

I don't know if this is the first time for SEA Games and World Championships are in the same time.

The reason behind THA got most gold because they kept their best team here. But IMO, World Championship should have higher priority in players/pairs selection (send higher rank to WC and then lower rank to SEA Games). Maybe THA have another strategies for keeping their best team for SEA Games, e.g boost their morale by dominating South East Asian region.
