    Hi everyone,

My ankle pain has reoccured recently and I am thinking to get a new pair of shoes to get more cushion. I have relatively narrow and flat feet and I am looking for something that is comport and not very bulky. I have done a little bit of search on Yonex and I guess SHB65 and SHB03 would have more cushion than the Aerus ?

So could you please recommend something that would fit my needs? Thanks in advanced !

Btw, I don't have specific brand or budget in mind.

Narrow feet, u can try Mizuno Wave Fang RX Pro or RX2. SHB03 is a tad wide, so u have to get the right size, i am wearing SHB03MD.

I was in a similar situation once. SHB02 is good, as it provides good ankle support. The quattro fit is also on the narrower side (I'm a 7.5-8 narrow).

If you get the yonex shb03ex, get one or two half sizes higher than what you're used to wear. It provides a lot of cushioning in the sides of the shoe.

I have also found a lot of reviews saying SHB03 is a bit wide. I have measured my feet with a pair of thick socks. It turns out to be roughly medium wide. Wondering whether 03 would fit or not.

It is hard for me to get Mizuno product though.

I have found SHB02 as well and I am comparing it with SHB65. Any reason you chose SHB02 over SHB65?

It's more stable and supportive(stiffer), quattro fit feels nice and snug, the SHB02 just feels a bit more performance oriented if you will.

The SHB65 is kind of like Yonex's entry level shoe so it's not really a fair comparison either.

Finally decided on the SHB02LTD after trying the SHB65 and 03Z.

So my impressions from just wearing them at home:

03Z: too wide for me as I have flat and narrow feet. I tided the shoe lace as tight as possible but still couldn't get the snug feeling. But even with such as loose fit, 03Z impressed me with rapid movement. If you have wide feet, definitely give 03z a shot.

SHB65 (not SHB65z): very good but not the best, if it was a bit narrower I may just end up with it. Good response and cushioning but won't wow you.

SHB02LTD: Finally I found a pair of shoes that could give me the snug feeling. Initially feeling is that the cushioning may not be as good as the other two. But again I haven't tested any of these shoes on the court. I will probably give a review later.

The 65R is a different shoe to the regular 65. The R shoes are lower end.

Hmm... that's interesting because at the time the 65R was the only model available in the 65 line.

Thanks for the comparison Charlie, probably just a different lineup that's available in my country. To be honest, they pretty much all suck to me compared to my running and cycling shoes. In those sports, the shoes fit way better and badminton is just lagging behind.

Hi everyone, I am interested in purchasing the SHB03MD and may I know who owns it here?
Is the technology used the same with the 03Z?
Do you also have a picture wearing the shoe? I am using now the SHB01LCW LTD (Lime/Orange) and a regular SHB01 LTD (Flash Yellow) and I think I need an upgrade :)

    Many thanks!

    sole glue is coming off
yellow gum sole is separating from the back base

any other brands of badminton shoes tht gives similar fit as the shb02?
managed to read up some comparison and most says shb03 is wider
