VA is now the king of MS while Jonatan can't even beat Ginting. VA is already ahead of all
his seniors plus LD, SWH, THW, SK and LCW.

It's not true that Jonatan can't even beat Ginting. Jonatan's ever defeated Ginting at MAS SSP 2017.

VA should be ahead of all his senior since he was 2010 Junior Champion, VA 23 y.o. Jonatan Christie still 20 y.o.

Don't forget about Momota. Seems VA have trouble with Momota. And Ginting won over VA in last Sudirman Cup as well.

AFAIK Jonatan playing style is different with Ginting. The poor performance of both Jonatan and Ginting in Japan SS after their final match in Korea SS could be understandable.

Hmm never would have thought Jonatan would even have anything to beat the singles top players.. but that determination against Kenta..

He can keep that up, he will be the new contender against Kento, VA, and shi yuqi.

In all of his matches against SYQ, Jonatan has always looked like he dominated, He lossed at FrenchOpen due to toe injury and he was sick at TC (even then it was rubber). He just needs to be more consistent against player ranked outside top 10 though, I think playing against top 10 , he always looks intimidating.

He need to cut all the things he done outside badminton already. All those advertisement and social media gimmicks did not help him one bit when it come to the court.

At this rate, him winning AG will be the only big thing on his career. Aside form millions followers on social media ofc:confused:

In my opinion, dont even talk about JC. Look at how many titles ChenLong won after OG.

and the fact that CL has much more quality than JC

Its simply isnt easy. it's mentally difficult after winning such big event.

Agreeing with the posts before this one, it is increasingly hard to see him win big if he doesn't cut down his activities outside badminton but I hope he manages :confused:would be fun to see if he can clash it out with the other two top Indonesian MS for a spot in the Olympics!

That's why some fans out there put his name to play the multi-event SEA Games in 2019... To be complete multi-event specialist :D

Yesterday in Djarum Superliga, I heard more of supporters supporting Djarum players. I wonder if this is played in Istora, Jojo and LYD probably has the most supporters but not in Bandung apparently.

Or are they declining in popularity ?

Why can't he manage them all... Pusarla Sindhu is rich because she is doing so many endorsement outside the prize she won in the tournaments. She can do it and she is doing great also in the BWF tournaments.

it naturally is a general statement
everybody has their own level of capability and should not be compared as it is between each other
it is like saying 'I can be president, and so do you because we both are the same nationality'
