Undoubtedly, I followed them since their junior days, very overwhelming, along with Han Chengkai and Zhou Haodong.
I predict that one pair will be World Champion in the next 4-6 year.

Can anybody provide some inside on Du Yue/Xu Ja? I've only seen them twice I think, and found them incredibly unimpressive on those occasions. However, they just took the first game from the champs, leading from the start. How are they seen in China?

Due Yue/Xu Ya, the 2nd best pair in the juniors after Chen/Jia.
They have a lot of gold and silvers in Asia/World Junior.

interesting tournament so far ...... many more favored-to-win players are beaten on 2nd round ....... TCM-TYS -- KamSon -- HDPLiYinHui -- AhsanSaputro --

AhsanSaputro really just needs to split up ahhaha

Not much improvement from Chen Long, he's not going to win this tournament, may not even enter the final. No hunger, no fire in the Dragon, still hasn't snapped out of whatever is troubling him.

Good win for Antonsen, even if CL was not at his level. I saw AA hurry too much very often in his previous games, but today he kept calm and controlled the match like he have to do. He's only 20 and he's quite regular for this age.

    "Right now"?
Yes, age is a factor, and that's why there's heavy clouds of shadows rumbling upon her hopes to participate in Tokyo 2020.
Well SJH just lacks almost everything, whatever she has achieved its from hardwork and persistence efforts. I respect her so much to keep her motivation level so high all the time, anybody who is a top10 for what seems like eternity and yet almost nothing to show as "achievements" I bet anybody else would've crumbled down.

As far as her fitness his concerned you body doesn't get back its best after repetitive injuries at 27, I am afraid this is as good as she can. The footwork ain't gonna get better than this alas.
I just hope she can be like LHIl, schooling her young opponents solely based on her determination and shot quality
