Having watching many of the tops players, I realized they all have a slightly different way of hitting the shuttle which I assume probably has to do with slight physical differences (ie. arm length, etc...) and the way they were taught. If you take a look and compare Lin Dan and Son Wan Ho, you'll notice that Lin Dan has a bigger swing while Son Wan Ho's swings seem more compact. Does anyone notice this? I really like Lin Dan's technique as he is really deceptive and would like to know how he achieves this.
Well, LD’s overhead technique is quite good. He is able to generate massive amounts of power with his full smash and also hit devastating stick smashes with very compact motion.
