I still believe in Lin Dan. I have a feeling he can still surprise with occasional titles. Cant say the same about LCW anymore. CL in form seems like the best MS player hands down! VA in form will find it difficult to beat CL in form most of the times. KS in form vs CL in form should be interesting. But KS's playing style is more vulnerable to injuries. Not sure how long we will get to see him at his peak. CL might take a good revenge against LHI tomr!
True, but they did post a few narrow losses (extension in 3rd set), so I wouldn't say there's no potential there. Unfortunately Japan has 0 men who would be able to raise either Yuta or Arisa properly, so they kind of have to make it on their own. It doesn't help that Japan's set-up makes it a bit harder to swap partners whenever you want.

The third superseries tournament in a row Minatsu Mitani gets a first round draw against Marin. Are there capable mathematicians around who can calculate the odds of that happening?
Even Saina ran into Yamaguchi three times of late. And she struggled to beat her all three times whereas she'd give a decent fight to any other player as she has almost recovered from her injury.
Let's say coin toss with 2 sides gives the possibility: side A 50% and side B also 50%. Within 10 times toss, the result ended with 10 times side B winning. The equation according the statistics still 50% opportunities although the real result showing 100% going to side B. Nobody guarantee a 50% chance will always give exactly a half of incidents happened. The chance will be calculated before the event starting, not after. As far as I know BWF using a software for the drawing. Maybe it's better to use real drawing with the number/names inside the box and the real human take the items and put the result into drawing table.
The chance is 1/24 * 1/4 * 4 * 1/3 = 1/72 aka 1.4% with Marin put as the 5-8 seed for all 3 tournaments hope this is right hahaha
Cheah Soon Kit should make a Lifting 101 - How to pass Net for MAS players. 90% lift can't even pass net? The heck are they even training?
Right? Honestly, I did rather get Court 2 angle than this angle. What were they thinking? Making it higher each year.
