    Welp there it goes. CYF to SF. Impressive fightback by RI from 13-5 down I think to keep it close at 21-18.

    RI is 5-2. CYF is 5-3. TTY is 4-3 at best. So RI tops the group and CYF qualifies for SF. TTY is 3rd in the group and thus eliminated.

    The situation is now 16.2.3....

    16.2.2 If two players / pairs have won the same number of matches, the winner of the match between them will be ranked higher.
    16.2.3 If three or more players / pairs have won the same number of matches, ranking will be established by the difference between total games won and total games lost, with greater difference ranked higher.
    16.2.3.1 If this still leaves two players / pairs equal, the winner of the match between them will be ranked higher.​
    16.2.4 If three or more players / pairs have won the same number of matches and are equal in the difference between total games won and total games lost, ranking will be established by the difference between total points won and total points lost, with greater difference ranked higher.
    16.2.4.1 If this still leaves two players / pairs equal, the winner of the match between them will be ranked higher.
    16.2.4.2 If three or more players / pairs are still equal, then ranking will be established by drawing lots.​

    three-way tie between RI, CYF and TTY (if she win straight games) but unfortunately TTY would lose at "total games different".

    Adding RI 5-2 into your comparison then.

    What was she doing? I guess May will choose Tai Tzu Ying over any Chinese for knock out round. She needs 13 matches to beat Wang Yihan and never win against Chen Yufei and He Bingjiao.

    Zhang Nan is my favourite male doubles player at the moment. After Cai Yun and Lee Yong Dae, he has taken the responsibilty of keeping the flame of old school badminton alive.

    Yeah. Now that she wasn't able to beat CYF today, she's faced with the possibility of meeting her again tomorrow. And among PVS, AY, TTY, and CYF, her H2H is worst against CYF having never won now out of 4 encounters so I don't understand why she wouldn't have wanted to win today as is sorta accused.
