Can anyone pls tell me the difference between voltric 7 and voltric z force 2?
I have voltric 7 and it has pretty great smashes, but lacks greatly in the defense department.
Is z force 2 having better smash and defense?
    Is it worth the upgrade?
Any other racket which is slightly lighter but has great smashes?

I'm sorry but u r comparing a BMW 3 series with a BMW 5 series, its more difficult to master driving a BMW 5 series but it's a better vehicle, much more powerful more stable...etc. The question is hv u tried a ZF2 n how do u feel on dry swings? Also remember ZF2 has a compact head n thus smaller sweetspot, how accurate r u in yr shots? Especially when u r tired..
Try to borrow ZF2 and hv a 10-minute warm-up, see how u like it. It's an excellent singles racket, if u can handle it

That's the problem,my friend, where I stay there aren't any dealers who lend trial rackets for testing. Also I don't know any player in my club having the z force 2.
Could u recommend any other slightly more user-friendly, but similar in other aspects like that of z force 2?
    Appreciate it

Sorry i cant comment much on zf2 but there r plenty of comments/reviews on zf2, but almost none on user-friendliness. I tried a zf2 4U for warm-ups but did not impress me much, i owned mny old rackets that r just as good (a few in DinkALot's rackey reviews).
I only tried dry swings on 3U it was good but a bit heavy for doubles aka slow (i hardly play singles anymore). Our moderator Master Cheung uses a zf2 3U, u can pm him for advice. But his previous racket was a 2U Carbonex20, another singles racket legend.
Yr VT7 is also an excellent mid-end singles racket but if u really want a new racket then get a 4U zf2. It's a safer bet n also a fine racket. If u feel it's too light later when u improve u can keep it as a spare, to use when u r already tired or want to play faster games
Btw if later u feel zf2 4U is too light then u r ready for competition n practice w/ Kidambi
    ..:D:D:D

Haha thanks mate! Well I don't think that a day will come when I fell zf2 4u light.I kinda prefer lighter ones as they save much more points especially in doubles though cuts on smashes, but hey can't expect everything right?
I think I'll try some rackets as well as research for a better racket till probably a month or so. (hopefully prices of z force 2 should come down till then, fingers crossed) If they come to around 8000 then I'll probably buy it without any further delay.Lets hope.
Bdw where r u from? which racketsdo you use?

I'm from Surabaya, Indonesia. I own over 15 rackets, mostly older ones, n played for 35yrs.. Which racket is my favorite? None really, when I'm not so fit that day then I choose lighter/easier rackets. When I play w/ slow/heavy shuttles, I use heavier rackets. My lighter recent rackets are Yonex Voltric Glanz + NR800 3U, Victor TK15; heavier ones r Astec Pro800 3U, Toalson Cyclone(a 4U but heavy head), YY NR300 1st gen

Gonna side track this for a bit. How's the VTGZ? Shin Baek Cheol has tempted me greatly to get one during PBL3 hahaha.

Just used for 1 short game, cant comment too much. Strung @ 26lbs w/ a Gtone 5, max recommended by my stringer is 27. Good power (for a 4U), fast swings and solid feel, but needs to be whipped to get maximum power. It's a G6 n I got a great deal on it (US $120 new). I also owned a VTIF for abt a year n enjoyed it, VTGZ is 1/2 a tad slower but more powerful.

Thanks. Seriously considering one. But pushing it to 28lbs is asking a bit too much hahaha..

    I'm using the zf2 4u at 30lbs. Loving it. Upgraded from vt80 4u.
Feels fine to me, can't handle the 3u at even 24lbs, tired out fast.

Is there any other similar handling racket from Victor or Lining?

No. India loves the zf2 and with Srikanth on the rise, the prices ideally should only go up unlike in HK where you can get the zf2 3u g5 for like 8.3k inr after shipping etc.

Best to import yours than buy locally. It's what I do.

Be careful abt custom duties/taxes in yr city, if u want to import them. Ask some1 @ post office abt that before u import it.
Bangkok's mrc-sports.com also has very good prices on Yonex rackets, VT ZF2 US$103 before shipping

Don’t worry I’m from his country. The duty isn’t very much because most HK shops underquote the value.

    You’re charged around 950inr.

Could you share the place/site from which you buy your rackets? And is credit card of any Indian bank accepted there?

I'll be getting a z force 2 lcw version in very good condition. Hopefully it'll be a great racket to use. I've used a mizuno f caliber tour so I'm assuming i can tame this one easily

Lcw zfii was only marketed in 3u right? Never played that mizuno caliber but I doubt anything comes close to a 3u sledgehammer like you have ordered so good luck ;) hope you mainly play singles ^^
