he did not admit touching the shuttle with his racket so funny that he didn't feel the shuttle touching his racket so strange that jackie is quiet about it
Haven't seen the scene so I have no opinion on it, but it's nice to know I seem to be so important to you that you think of me that often =)
Not trying to defend them here, but from my own experience, even playing at recreational club level, sometimes you don't really feel that you're touching the birdie if it's not super obvious (which I think is the case in this instance). Furthermore, this is at world class speeds. Just saying that, it is possible, they really do feel that they didn't touch the birdie.
Anyway no drama today against Thailand haha They didn't win easily though, seems like other MD really want to beat them.
They have been at the top for some time now, I think everyone else will try to devise some special strategy to topple them off.
It's back-to-back meeting between those two pairs, last week Kevin/Gideon win 21-16, 21-16. Their opponents having a good learning from their recently meeting at Indonesia Masters.
seems like the whole world gonna descend upon them, and then Gideon/Kevin responds : "LET THEM COME...!"
Uh-uh.. Minions so far took the games as practice for next match .. Tomorrow they will start using all amunitions they have against a very strong pair. Mark my words.
Seems as not being number 1 pair, Ahsan/Hendra plays with more ease and relaxation. This is dangerous, they still have the talent ( well if Boe can play till 38), Hendra can play at top 8 for few more years and they can beat any lingering opponents. Dont want to play them at R1 of WorldChampionship. (Just like AhsanRian did)
This is their 1st time together after such a long absence. The last time they met was 2016 M'sia Open, the minions lost straight sets. I'll just wait n see for a few months ahead. However, I'm happy that Indo has such strong doubles
