Vwwk retired after trailing for most part of the match. Subhankar dey was one game and 19-11 up in the second game.
No idea why vwwk retired. Hope he is ok.

It should be worth watching how the 38-yr-old legendary veteran Lee Hyun Il deal with the 15 years younger Khosit Phetpradab, if only livestream is available.

if the main event-page is to be believed, then there should be streaming from first day. However, there was no streaming, not BWF, not BEC.

Recently concluded Swiss and Austrian Opens had live streams from the second day, so it is possible that BEC would broadcast.

Try this link, it is possible that you will also get link to another courts - http://bit.ly/2oQdpOl

Lin Dan's power smash accuracy and follow-up not as good as in his younger days.

Lin Dan narrowly escaped being forced to play the decider, winning the deuces 23-21 in G2, with two lucky net cord points.

LD's deteriorating footwork has visibly had a negative impact on his technique as well. If you noticed, he's "leaning" into his forehand corners to make shots more and more often instead of actually moving to position himself. As a result, his forehand clears are so predictable and attackable now; his long forehand corner in general has become more of liability rather than a weapon these days.

heavy casualties for Malaysia campaign, especially Chan Peng Soon/Goh Liu Ying, Goh Jin Wei and Tan Kian Meng/Lai Pei Jing, and the for Ong Yew Sin/Teo Ee Yi in my opinion they already had their best, but their TPE opponent more better and experience as they once beaten our former diamond pair Koo Kien Keat/Tan Boon Heong years ago...

    ROUND OF 16 (12.00pm local time) => https://www.tournamentsoftware.com/...A5647B-467F-47A1-88EB-53B7580C6EBA&d=20180308

    *Match Highlights :
    - Kenta Nishimoto (JPN) v Lee Hyun Il (KOR)
    - Huang Yuxiang (CHN) v Anthony Ginting (INA)
    - Zhang Beiwen (USA) v Aya Ohori (JPN)
    - Nozomi Okuhara (JPN) v Gao Fangjie (CHN)
    - Lee JH/Lee Y (TPE) v Pratama/Saputro (INA)
    - Astrup/Rasmussen (DEN) v Ahsan/Setiawan (INA)
    - Awanda/Istirani (INA) v Kititharakul/Prajongjai (THA)
    - Stoeva/Stoeva (BUL) v Du Y/Li YH (CHN)
    - Tang CM/Tse YS (HKG) v He JT/Du Y (CHN)
    - Watanabe/Higashino (JPN) v Choi SG/Chae YJ (KOR)

It's a bad day for Korean men's singles squad, one by one falter to their opponent, started from Jeon Hyeok Jin who couldn't find fine rhythm against more-fancied rival Chou Tien Chen, later on Son Wan Ho failed to pass Kenta Nishimoto, this top-ranked KOR player displayed sloppy performance after succeeded to force rubber games, then Lee Dong Keun lost narrowly to Kanta Tsuneyama. Only the evergreen veteran Lee Hyun Il left in the fray and will take on Nishimoto today. At lower-half draw, far from his best Lin Dan beat Vladimir Malkov, Ng Ka Long overcame Emil Holst. Another two seeded players also through to next round, Anthony Ginting dropped first game 14-21 then Kim Bruun conceded retired at early stage of second game, 1-2 position for Danish player. A dramatic and unthinkable comeback was created by Shi Yuqi, trailing behind 5-11, 6-15 in third set but he slowly catching up to level the scoreline 17-17, Zhao Junpeng added two more points, 19-17, 19-18 then Shi sealed the match briefly, 21-19.

The only upset in women's singles opening round saw 8th seed and European Badminton Championships runner-up Kirsty Gilmour eliminated by Canadian Brittney Tam in rubber games. All top contenders march on to last sixteen, reigning World Champion Nozomi Okuhara had hard times to conquer Cheung Ngan Yi, 22-24 / 21-13 / 21-15. Okuhara will be tested by China new promising star, Gao Fangjie who made the headline in CHN Open Premier last November.

Two Chinese Taipei MD pairs suffered premature exit in really close match, 3rd seed Chen HL/Wang CL was upset by The Netherlands combination Maas/Tabeling while 8th seed Lu CY/Yang PH lost to Thailand rising pair Isriyanet/Namdash. Another Taiwanese duo almost have same fate, Lee Y/Lee JH edged out Malaysians Ong YS/Teo EY, 17-21 / 21-15 / 22-20. In women's doubles, the unranked China pair Huang DP/Zheng Y stun Korean A-listers Lee SH/Shin SC. Wold number one Chen/Jia and two Japanese high-profile pairs Tanaka/Yonemoto, Fukushima/Hirota stay on course to check in second round without much trouble.

    hmm
maybe becoz the dumb umpire wasn't looking at the not-ready ohori but instead was looking at michelle li all the time .... the mistake umpire looking at just 1 player isn't that uncommon me thinks....though a simple warning would've been much more proper

anyway michelle li probably should file formal complaint or something coz 1 extra point punishment is ridiculous

on the other hand i'm happy ohori made it ahahaha hopefully she can beat ZBW today though
