I won't be so quick to write off Fuku/Hiro but I do agree with you.

The Danish ladies are so pumped up, positive and proactive, seizing the initiative as much as possible

Again I feel it is the lack of interception that really hurts them, like in that rally, aside of course from the half chance Juhl took that totally paid off.

Take Nothing away from Shi Yuqi who bossed this tournament.

But the fight Lin Dan showed in the 2nd Game, the Quality he showed,in the 2nd game after what happened in the Opening Game is unprecedented in the history of the present Decade considering the age and the curve on which both the player lie.

This should have been a routine straight setter like WC 2015, Rio 2016 Final where the opponent was a better player throughout the match and the losing party ran out of ideas and courage ..........but this is Lin Dan we are talking about and there is nothing routine about this man.

Or perhaps, Lin Dan did his best, gave his 350 %? when the flesh screamed ''Sir! THERE IS NO OXYGEN LEFT IN THE TANK.''

Every single rally of the opening part of the third game was decided after 20 plus shots and THEREIN LIES YOUR FIGHT.

What a rousing performance by the Japanese squad in this year's championship. 1 gold and 2 silvers, well done.
