Don't believe a single word that any big company's advertising says. Lin Dan has never actually used a real LDF in competitive matches. He uses a ZF2 which is re-painted to look like a LDF.

But to answer your question - the LDF is a very user friendly racket that can easily be handeled by a normal non-pro player.

Have you seen Axelsen-Daren Liew game on Malaysia Masters? What racket use Liew? LD Force?

Not sure about this, considering he's using yonex aerus 2 shoes. They probably are ldf's as Tanongsak does the same thing, ie, was using a 80e with yang yang stensils.

    very nice find!

on an related note, a local shopowner said that this racquet (VTLDF) is no longer available to order from yonex as he's down to his last 2 pieces of the black color

I do own both. Gladly that I love both of them. However, I feel N9 is little bit head heavier than N9ii.. But overall, N9ii really excellent !

I haven't tried n9 before. N9ii was my first li ning racquet, and still my current racquet. In my review of the n9ii, I did compare it to my other racquets that I had played extensively with during last year, and the n9ii is definitely on top. One of those racquets is the LDF, and I would choose the n9ii over it any day. However, it's just my opinion and preference. If you have a chance to try it, I would recommend trying it and see how you like it.

Unfortunately the retailer I placed an order with last week emailed me to say they can’t get anymore, despite it clearly being in stock on their website! Seems there are none left in the UK now, I hope you enjoy yours

Don’t worry, you ended up with the racket Lin Dan actually uses. Can’t be too bad.

I'd just bought one VT-LDF (4UG5, gold-coloured version), from one of the famous local retailers (a Yonex's concept store, in fact) here in Malaysia. With BG66 Power, AC104EX grip and all. All for around USD85... They're clearing out the old stock (I think...), plus this shop still have the old VT-80 and 70, for a very, very attractive pricing. Can't wait to try it out soon!

Yonex's pricing has been on a downward trend recently. Is it because our national team now is sponsored by Victor? Anyhow, to get a top tier racquet for less than $100 is heaven sent!
