21-8 in G3 after two very close sets, 19-21,22-20, Zhang Nan/Li Yinhui prevailed over the AE champion.

Of course 200% sure to win the match. What kind of question is that.

Seriously I had my doubts. But good for Zhang Nan and his partner. Yay!

I am really mad now that we can't watch the matches.

I have to admit, Shi Yuqi is no Lin Dan, not even Chen Long, when the latter two were on top of their game, the consistency, the prowess on court, the masterful air when they were all-conquering and all-winning in their heyday.

Zhang Nan won't be doing double duty for the Olympics, he's just helping to mentor the younger players, liu Xuanxuan, then Li Yinhui again when previously their partnership didn't do very well.

I'd expect Zhang Nan to concentrate on MD as Zhang Jun hinted, just that I'm not too confident of his partner Liu Cheng.

I wasn't talking about the dress in particular. And what does it have to do with you whether or not I am pleased with how my own gender being presented in public on TV internationally?

I surely hope so. He won't last until Tokyo 2020 if he kept up doing double duties every tournament.

We all know Liu Cheng won't ever be as the same level as Fu Hai Feng to be realistic, but I sincerely hope he would at least more consistent in his performance.

The same goes with CHN's other disciplines. Just that the other countries have become more serious and made great attempts to close the gap.

Why take lighthearted remarks so seriously. A bit of off-topic comments or views can lighten the atmosphere or break the monotony of solemnity sometimes, in my humble opinion.

LD isnt strong mentally. He fell apart in the last olympics. Losing all confidence in his smashes.
Fell apart in 2005 AE finals in 3rd set too.
He is just a v v good player.

Momota is on a different Level to Shi Yuqi.

Shi Yuqi is on a different Level to Lin Dan.

I therefore, have got a conclusion about Lin Dan's level.

Not that we mind the ladies presenting themselves smartly and be competitors to their tennis counterparts.
When TTY first appeared on the baddy court, she was clueless as to how she should dress up, but since then she has improved tremendously.

i totally respect how they dress up in the match, same as how they play to win.

How is it discriminating when Male and Female were two different genders to begin with? That is why we have 5 different disciplines in sports. MS, MD, WS, WD, and XD. Or should we only have Singles and Doubles regardless the genders?

And for as far as stereotyping goes, I was only stating the facts how Male and Female were supposed to look different. If you think things are fine the way it is, then so be it.
