    thanks, Justin, for your translation.

I hope LXR would take care of herself. Fortunately, Zhang Ning (unlike Chen Jin) remembers what happened to Wang Lin very well and will not push LXR too hard.

Welcome back, Li! Would be looking for her match vids real soon :).
Other than above mentioned mistakes, is she still as charming and graceful during play?

Having seen Li Xuerui in two matches now since her comeback, I think she looks in great form. Which is quite remarkable considering it's her first tournament back since her injury at the Olympics. Even her movement looks fluent, fast, effortless. I think this must be a testament to her remarkable talent. Most players would be slow and insecure in their movement after such an injury layoff. She is not. Her shots are still there, of course. Just a few more errors and misjudgments.

If she can stay injury-free, and let's pray she can, I think she will return to the very top of the game.

I think @pcll99 is right. That injury lay off has been longer than we all expected. The China team must have been very patient and careful with the rehabilitation and subsequent training making absolutely sure no chances are being taken.

It will still be a long road crawling back to top 10. Its been more than a year for Saina, and now she seems to be getting back to her rhythm slowly. And LXR's injury was quite worse than Saina's, as far as i understand. Hoping no more injuries in the store. You tend to over- protect the injured leg while playing and end up injuring other. Hope this doesn't happen.

I think Li Xuerui will become the fourth WS in China Uber Team along with Chen Yufei, He Bingjiao and Gao Fangjie.

I think so too, as a reserve, as Chen Xiaoxin is abit too temperamental and somewhat vulnerable to deceptive play.

But, I still think CXX has the potential to rise higher in the near future. Let's see.

As for Li Xuerui, I'm still wondering about her mental toughness or lack thereof in crucial matches, as in the individual majors, surprisingly not so for the team majors when she's never failed to deliver. Hope her life experience and maturity now has helped her overcome it or at least deal with it better than before.

With that first tournament victory at Lingsui China Masters for her comeback performance, Li Xuerui earned herself 5500 ranking points and is temporarily ranked 242. Still a long way to go but a good start, nevertheless.

Congratulations, Li Xuerui. Way to go. Jiayou!

The coach will face a difficult situation regarding which one to be third WS.

Overall WS3 Comparation for Top 5 Uber Teams :
    1. Japan : WS3 rank 13th
    2. China : Sun Yu was rank 14th (February 22, 2018) --- when the seeding list made
    3. Korea : WS3 rank 33th
    4. Thailand : WS3 rank 23th
    5. Chinese Taipei : WS3 rank 26th

While WS1 & WS2 are Chen Yufei and He Bingjiao had been sealed already. The other 2 WS players need to be determined after next week event, Badminton Asia Championships at Wuhan.

The nominations list for the rest could be : Gao Fangjie, Chen Xiaoxin, Li Xuerui, or Sun Yu (will be pushed more after her post that said "I want to work hard again"). Gao Fangjie & Chen Xiaoxin are joining the BAC next week.

I think Gao Fangjie and Li Xuerui will go

I somehow expect Li Xuerui to play against Aya Ohori in the last match of Japan-China, terms and condtitions applied
A very interesting battle of youngster who never played in the largest stage with the most experienced player with physical weakness

She definitely fits WS3 for China.

    It's reported here http://sports.sina.com.cn/others/badmin/2018-05-03/doc-ifzyqqiq2867868.shtml

    The CHN Team TUC lineup:
MS : Lin Dan, Chen Long, Shi Yuqi and Qiao Bin
MD : Zhang Nan/Liu Cheng, Li Junhui/Liu Yuchen and Zheng Siwei/Wang Yilv

WS : Chen Yufei, He Bingjiao, Gao Fangjie and Li Xuerui
WD : Chen Qingchen/Jia Yifan, Huang Yaqiong/Tang Jinhua and Huang Dongping/Zheng Yu (the selection of the last two pairs took me by surprise, esp Tang Jinhua, not so much Zheng Yu who performed remarkably at the BAC team event recently)
