My prediction: CHN vs MAS and JPN vs KOR for semi. Final CHN-JPN, CHN wins. (I wish for JPN to win though)

I Hope LeongJunHao is given the chance to shine.

He is more of a next LCW than LZJ

Agree. In fact LJH should have been fielded to face Jan O Jsen

Interesting, to me it sounded more like you were trying to make excuses for him. Apologies, I completely misunderstood you :D

I think it's going to be CHN vs INA and JPN vs DEN in the semis, CHN and (probably..?) DEN in the finals, then CHN to win it....although I see quite a few other possibilities as well :D

MAS may have gotten the best possible draw for them, I still dont see them winning. I doubt they'll win a MD match, and INA is probably going to eke out a single MS win somehow. China seems too strong to lose their match, as does Japan. Denmark vs Korea is a really tough one I think, this Korean squad is really unpredictable. Could be 3-0 for Korea, could be 3-0 for Denmark....but I guess it's going to be a bit closer. Denmark seems to have an edge in all matches though imop.
The semi in that half is also quite a bit closer than the CHN I think. China should really make it to the final with this draw, no excuse if they dont, not with their singles squad, and their doubles are no pushovers either. The only match they are really likely to lose imop would be the MD against KSS/MGF.
Japan vs Denmark is utterly impossible for me to predict, as almost all matches are really quite close to a 50/50 affair imop, with a slight edge to Momota (he's been playing well and matched up really really well against Axelsen stylistically in the past) and JOJ favored to win the MS3, should it come to that.

What the.....INA vs MAS not on the TV court? They prefer to broadcast JPN vs FRA. What kind of logic is that?

That's so elementary, it is appalling that an international federation just adopting it. I ran a huge local team tournament and that's been the rule for like ever.

INA can't win 2 WS; at most they can only get 1 pt from THA in their 1st WD. The 2nd WD is key; THA 3rd WS is a toss-up vs. INA 3rd WS. :(

JPN has more than 1 good player.
Kenta Nishimoto is about the same level as Jonatan and a bit lower than Ginting. KM is above all of them.

JPN has only 1 solid MD pair though.
