Heartiest congratulations to China for winning Thomas Cup quarter final.

I saw the scoreline for Chen Long match and was bit worried how he lost the 2nd game 10-21. Was he affected by nerves or simply amazed bu Chou's fightback? Hope he settles well in the SF.

Glad to see Liu.zhang winning their match in straight games. Their cooperation is invaluable

Shi Yuqi's 18 and 19 win against Wang Tzu Wei looks too close for comfort. But seems in the end he showed ample mental toughness.

The 2 Mads are really doing their job as MD1 for DEN -- selected for all the matches and won all of them so far!

I guess becoming dads has really mellowed them -- they not only have improve the overall variety and quality of their play, but can also keep their cool and makes adjustment when they are down... but too bad for Astrup/Rasmussen, whose job here seems to be inventing new cheers, LOL

Very uninspired play by LZJ, very passive and doesn't take much initiative despite poor defence and netplay

Don't be silly, the clowns can be mocked even if they win -- they are getting mocked for their clown antics, not for losing... I mean, you see any other losers getting mocked like the clowns?...

SYQ's performance was very impressive today. Nothing to worry about. His play was superb. Even LD was happy with it.

LDK is not reliable vs. HKV. I smell a sweep.

Revenge for Brice Leverdez -- who "sacrificed" himself against Momota as MS1, to give Corvee a fighting chance as MS2!!!

BTW, is this Brice's "biggest moment" in international badminton?

I think Marc Zwiebler got to play in a Sudirman Cup Quarter-Final because GER once qualified against the odds (when they still had the 2nd highest ranked XD for Europe); but I don't recall any European team other than DEN making the Quarter-Finals of the Thomas Cup...

LZJ too fragile and shabby. Meanwhile JC played well and consistent.

I feel sorry for LCW for never tasting the feeling of a Thomas Cup champion.

Oh it's Gicquel/Labar turn. I wonder how they will do against Endo/Watanabe. Might be interesting to see Gicquel playing Watanabe.

G1 to Jonatan Christie. One more game to the ticket to SF. And also one more match.

EDIT: Whoops. Sorry I mistook INA to DEN tie's score.

LZJ playing exactly like when he got demolished in SEA Games and Asian Badminton Team Event, very uninspired, defensive and full of unforced errors.
