Iirc, a number of Danish players (current/retired) continued playing competitive badminton well into their 30s, e.g. Peter Grade, Joachim Fischer Nielsen, BoMo, Christinna Pedersen, Kamilla Rutter Juhl, Tina Baun, Poul Erik Hoyer Larsen, Kenneth Jonassen.

It seems like Danish players generally have longer playing careers compared to their Asian counterparts.

Wang Yihan felt really sorry for Li Xuerui while commentating on Chinese Television.

She also criticised Chen Yufei saying she should leave those mental traits now that she is leading China WS player.

Yeah, a coincidence. On hindsight, it's not such a good idea to field them respectively today, it's really pushing them too hard.

Where can I see these Chinese videos? Love to hear what the Chinese former pros have to say about their juniors.

Think Indonesia should develop Younger crop of MD for next version of TC.

Well he wasn't injured, he didn't lose in straight sets, he played very well considering his age.. not quite as bad. He lost because the opponents got the better of his partner. :)

Well, the problem is in singles. AG is just so nervous everytime he gets to 19/20. His losses are quite closely contested. In future, he got to believe that he is better than that. He is 2x SS winner and will lead the line in coming years.

They usually start on the professional circuit later. Peter Gade and Axelsen became pros at an earlier age. But many Danes finish off school education before turning pro. Maybe that means they don't burn out as early ??

It's quite amazing to think how Indonesian men singles is so inconsistent. Basically, nobody after taufik and hendrawan

Yeah and there I thought CYF was doing so well in the first game. Had to leave so couldn't watch the rest of her match though. But the result pretty much said it all.

Think Indonesia have to determine who really is the cream of the crop between JOJO and Ginting and then work on them according to that differently. It halts the progress of one by some percentage but Indonesia will have a clear Top MS player then.

I just now saw the results. Busanan simply destroyed Li xuerui it seems. I didn't expect this one sided result.

Busanan was on fire while LXR completely collapsed. Thus the very lop sided final score.
