Of the two shaky CHN MS, one flopped, the other delivered, not bad; in fact , it makes the difference now.

If Li/Liu played like beasts like they did yesterday, I don't see how JPN can win over them.
But on the other hand, who wouldn't want to see LD ?

If Watanabe plays a lot of creative shots, the China MD will be in trouble. They are too one dimensional.

Not in this team event for sure, because the problem is in WS anyway

Tian Qing is out of motivation I believe, after winning everything as well as her latest fiasco with Zhao Yunlei. Extending her career is going to be a psychological burden I guess

Tang Yuanting is the biggest disappointment of course. Besides everybody else, Ma Jin is the one that looks to be able to maintain her level pre-Rio. But okay, if she only want to get any medal in the olympic, then yes, her chance is almost none, at least in WD. I always wonder what will happen if she plays with Zhang Nan in XD though, especially now XD is not as competitive as in the past few years

Hope they learn something from them. I think Liu Yuchen plays more variety from the back, perhaps should get him to play at the back court more to counter Watanabe.

After winning AllEngland, SYQ is like god. Its what makes me think AllEngland is the biggest title of it all. Compared to winning WC where the impact is just so so.

Shi Yuqi displays outstanding performance to outplay Kenta Nishimoto, 21-12 / 21-17. The All England champ can hold his nerves well and exploit his technical skill and quality shots in this match, well done!

Liu once mentioned in his interview that he was learning a lot from the minions especially the serve return and the shot's varieties. Hopefully he has done some learning.

Don't worry this time, the moment they win, you'll see Lin Dan the first to run down and tear his shirt off for him, just be careful he doesn't accidentally pull the shorts with it as well.:p:D:)

Chinese players on the bench do a lot of pulling shirt just now to mock li celebration. So funny
