Hey guys, need help choosing a racket for doubles play. The current rackets accessible for me right now are d10, dzs, arc11, ax77, nr900, zf2. I'm leaning towards the dzs but need help deciding. if you can try them before... i heard the duora z strike is pretty demanding on the arm... arc11 is a well known single/double racket. Are you doing competition ? casual player ? Best way to adopt a racket that suit you is to try them out! have a good one!
All good for doubles unless you are talking about the 3U version of the ZFII. You have to try them to get a feel. And you have to decide if you want the racket to complement your playstyle or the other way round.
I can say I'm an advanced player. I'm doing competitions yes. I've been able to try the arc11 and the zf2 from my friend. Arc11 feels like it's missing some punch. Zf2 has lots of power, but i think it will tire me out if i play long matches. Sent from my Lenovo PB2-650M using Tapatalk
agree with Rob3rt ! most people i know who used the DZS complained... i guess u need a very good technic for this one
I have a 3U DZS and I am currently using it for doubles because all my other rackets have their strings broken and I haven't got the time to go for strining. I would say if you have strong wrist, elbow and shoulder, especially wrist, then you would be fine with using DZS for doubles. But make sure you hold the grip differently when you are at doing short swings versus long swings like smashing and clear. The good thing about DZS is the Duora concept, despite it sounds like a gimmick, but it actually makes a difference if you have the power to wield this racket. The backhand side gives you good defense. The forehand side will give you a steep smash if you have the power to bend the racket through your swing. But again, make sure you have strong wrist before you pull the trigger. This is a very demanding racket.

no youll be better off with duo8xp, same stiffness in play, compact head and even balance. it is faster than zs
Why does everyone recommend the 8XP over the ZS, I was so keen on getting a ZS but know I'm back to square 1. But it does come down to personal preference aye?
