To me, Arisa is good at back court but normal front and normal defense which in xd women should be good at front and good back court(smash) is just a bonus. They can actually become top pair if she improve her woman role.

I think the two CHN XD pairs are trying to gain a psychological advantage over each other going into the Olympic cycle next year
Huang Yaqiong is better at the front court area whereas Huang Dongping is stronger at the back but in XD having a smart and skillful woman player at the front while leaving the heavy lifting to the man is more important and effective, imo.
Perhaps it's just me but I feel that MD final without the Minions against the twin towers or Boe/Mo or Kamura/Sonoda is not exciting.
