AG's strategy was quite obvious, get the lift at all costs and don't stop attacking. He was almost out of stamina by the end but its amazing he could continue that high pace. I can foresee problems ahead for him tomorrow but I hope that he can make it!

    No you won't, sorry, sir.:D
See how AG got cramp in the final of Team event? That's a sign of weak stamina.
Luckily, AG didn't go to the G3, where he will be out of gas.

Interesting though, that both his most recent losses were against opponents with home ground advantage.

Momota fought well. Got nervous at the end I guess. Good thing Ginting made it before Momota could get back into the match.

Well the crowd pushed him so much that AG somehow could up his game, go aggressive for everything...
    Well done.
Even though I'm really sad Kento lost. Wanted him to win, would have added even more to his myth.
But unlucky draw to meet the most inform player atm! Maybe with JC. They are so pushed from the homecroed. To be honest I fear both will not enter the final or SF. JC already had big trouble with KP...

I also wonder how future encounters will go outside Indonesia. I fear for the young Indonesian MS that they will be inconsistent...

But here they play awesome and entertaining matches.

Anyway, JC/AG is going to be worrisome going to the next round, both of them spent a lot of time on court recently.

That is some next level badminton right there...and what a time for ginting to produce it.

KM can control rallies better than anyone and wait for the right moment to finish it off.

So what do you do you play at an incredible pace and keep attacking his backhand...its a risky, bold, stamina burning plan but it is the only way to win against KM.

Ofcourse on slower courts this may not work but worth antry

I read in some local newspaper after that defeat by Momota in the team event. Ginting mention something about Momota that he has a believe that ge can defeat Momota. Because Momota's shoot kind of predictable, so he did learn a lot from those defeat. Very well done GINTING !!!!

I think Ginting made the right decision to go for broke in G2; otherwise, I don't see how he could take the decider as Momota has superior stamina, imo.

Then it wasn't really the home advantage that is the x factor. :D
Glad Ginting seems to have learnt valuable lessons from his last matches (defeats).

Yeah, because you have absolutely have got no clue. You just like to use that "weak stamina" nonsense every time a player you favour is down, because it's way easier to admit than that the opponent you don't like just played better. JustinL does it exactly the same way. Like HBJ has totally weak stamina but pulls a major comeback against NO in game three with her weak stamina. :D

AG didn't show any signs of cramping, fatigue or slowing down during the entire match. His footwork was sublime.
And part of the reason why he won was his great stamina in addition to his shot quality. Recovering from so many hard matches (and cramping) in such a short time is a sign of rather good physical condition. But suit yourself, after all you can even see the future. :D
